I've also been scammed by him for $575.00 I have the receipt with what I paid and services he promised but never performed he never kept in contact with us only us calling and texting him and after him not showing up when promised on multiple occasions. He had a sheriff meet him at my house for a civil stand by (we weren't even home at the time)he told the sheriff that he was concerned for his safety and his coworkers safety so he said that he just wanted to drop off the parts I ordered and that's it.First off what the am I supposed to do with them I don't know how to install them and if I needed parts I would have purchased them myself and for less money. The parts he left at my door were not even the ones I ordered and incomplete.then he blocked both of our phone numbers I proceed by calling the sheriff back that came with him for a civil standby and told the actual situation of him being a fraud and scamming people for money and what remedies that I have available to recover my losses and he tells me that it's a civil issue that if I want to take civil action I can.In other words he has me portrayed as the perpetrator in the eyes of the law and he's the victim which is absolutely ridiculous. The more he gets away with ripping people off and scamming them to believe that he's running an honest business with integrity the easier it is for him to lie and play the victim card because he knows he's got the law on a side.So taking people's money and promising them Services to them never contacts them and then blocks their phone calls so that they can't call him and get a hold of him and tells the police that he's being harassed. He's almost got this scam down to an art.he needs to be stopped so that nobody else gets injured by this Reckless criminal Behavior.

I hired R&J services to fix my 2007 ****** Prius. I asked him to repair my car as it had become undriveable due to the gas engine not working properly and running super rich on gas (mpgs were 7 to 8mpg; this vehicle should run around 50 mpgs on average). The fair market value for this vehicle was around 4-5k in working order; I took it to a ****** dealership and they quoted $8000 to fix it with a new engine. I had recently purchased a used engine from a salvage yard in *****, ** and had another mechanic do the swap. Within 300 miles the car became undriveable with extreme shaking, I had it towed to my home. I have used backyard/mobile mechanics for any vehicle I had under $5,000 my whole life. When its all said and done; he supposedly put ****** dealership OEM parts in: Headgaskets/Valve cover gaskets, Water Pump, Timing Chain, Camshafts, and rollers; There were two service orders for the cost of this repair totaling $2550.00. After three weeks of back and forth he supposedly fixed the vehicle(The vehicle is in worse condition than when he started). I asked him if he would provide me documentation of the Dealer parts brand new with prices redacted( I understand mechanics sometimes make prices higher to up their profit margin); He told me if I sell my car as a mechanics special that they could call him for the documentation; I told him that I paid him $2,500 to do the work and that my car wont even get put into drive. He told me that he was going to file harrassment charges against me for talking to him. Every conversation has been escalated by him and when it comes down to it I know the onus is on me. If he did the work with dealer parts with prices redacted why cant I have them when I try to sell this car as a parts or mechanics special. I have a better chronological order that I can send detailing the whole interaction with supporting documents...
