We started getting service from SpeedyQuick on February 1st, of 2019. We were supposed to be getting their internet at speeds of 9 Mbps down, and 2 up, (though the **** says 5 down and 2 up, they told us 9 over the phone). We've never gotten these speeds, even though speed tests say that we supposedly are. Regular web pages take time to load (even though one of our computers is brand new, and the other is relatively new and a 5 thousand dollar gaming computer... ). Our router is also a brand new one, and one of the best you get for home use, at 250'ish dollars.While the internet tested at the speeds they claimed, we've never gotten it, and making calls to them has been nothing but a way to receive a barrage of "It's your fault" claims from the company, though not in those exact words. They try to place the blame on our computers, or on the router, etc... While we didn't have the same problems with the previous provider. Even their lesser speeds were better than what we're getting. We tried going to the bigger plan, which was supposed to be 20 Mbps down and 5 up, and the speeds test at that on speed tests, but again, we're not actually getting that speed. In fact, it's no different than the slower speed they were offering.Additional calls resulted in a technician coming out that said he couldn't identify the problem.Additional calls resulted in one person saying we've been on the 5 Mbps plan forever, and that it was never changed to the higher plan, though the price sure went up. Another person said they see that we're only getting 1 Kbps, which isn't even close to 1 Mbps, let alone the 5 or 20 we were supposed to get. Another person said we were getting 5, then 20, then 5 again at some point for some reason, though we're still paying the higher amount.Now we see they've changed their service options, and prices went up on their site.Every time we talk to them, the internet manages to get even worse, as if being punished or pushed into breaking their contract.
