I bought a car from the Fruitland dealership location on 9/23/22. At the time, I was persuaded to buy an extended warranty and was assured that if I changed my mind I just needed to fill out a form and I would be promptly refunded the warranty amount. A few days later I did contact them about cancelling the warranty. It took about two weeks to finally get a response and the proper form to fill out and sign. This form was submitted via ************************* on 10/12/22. A week later I was informed that it could take up to 6 weeks to see a refund to my loan. Not what I would consider "prompt" as I had been assured at the time of purchase, but I let it slide. By 12/13/22 (9 weeks post-submission of the form) I still hadn't seen a refund to my loan and reached out to **** again. I was told over the phone that the refund was in process and I should see it soon. However, by 1/4/23 I still had not seen a refund posted. I reached out to **** again and was told he'd personally look into it and get back to me. By 1/17/23 I still had not received any status information from ****. I emailed him again and have not received a response, leaving me no choice but to file a complaint for resolution.Business response

We truly apologize for the delay in the processing of this cancellation. A check for $1960 was mailed to the customers lender (ICCU) the week of 01/16/2023. This should reflect on the customers balance in the month of January. Once again, we apologize for the delay as we have to wait for the warranty company to process the refund and then send to us.
