      In August 2023 we bought a tree from Victory Greens and paid to have it delivered and planted. Within a month the tree was doing very poorly and we went in several times to show pictures to the company to see what they thought. We were told to give it until this spring to see what happened. We started going in with pictures again around March/April of 2024 and were told to give it until the end of May to see if any buds had started to form on the tree. My husband went in May 22nd with photos and we were told that this can happen and no problem for them to come out and exchange the tree once we brought the receipt in. He went in this morning with the receipt but because this is the white page of the receipt (photo of receipt uploaded) and not the yellow carbon copy they are refusing to honor their guarantee. We had bought 14 trees the summer before and had them all planted with no problems. We need an additional 14 and had intended to purchase those later this summer. We have stated that we will no longer do business with their company if they will not honor the guarantee they claim to have. They obviously aren't concerned about losing business as they have definitely lost ours. We also own a business and would never treat our customers this way.

      To whom it may concern,

       

      We are more than happy to honor our 1 year warranty for 50% toward a replacement tree. As stated on our yellow receipt no questions asked. The yellow copy of the receipt is required for all warranties. The customer signs under the warranty so they know what is required. At the time of signing they are told that the yellow receipt and only it is what is to be presented if a warranty is to occur. A photo copy or picture of it will not be accepted. All correspondence is written on the yellow.

      I am unclear as to what the business is stating. Are they willing to refund half the cost with the yellow copy only? We were told it was 100% replacement with the receipt and I only have the white copy which we provided.

      To whom it may concern,

      Here is a scan of our warranty on the back of every invoice. This is why the Yellow is important. We have customers sign below the warranty to make sure they understand the how our policy works.

      I went in to victory greens and the owner spoke with me and I told him I needed **** ft of stone for a project at my house. He told me about his pricing and all the materials thats hadnt sold in over a year that he would sell to me at contractor price and even as far as texting me the pricing and what he can do for me. A couple days later I told him I actually needed closer to **** ft but I wasnt sure on certain areas. He then had ***** give me a list of what they had in stock which wasnt enough in one pattern to do my whole yard. I decided to use what he had but in different parts of my yard. Long story short now hes completely fabricating what our conversation was about and now denied me the pricing he promised that he sent by text because I didnt buy 70 pallets from him. I never told him I was going to buy all 70 pallets and I even called and asked The owner and The older lady both if the pricing was going to be the same even if I bought less and they both said yes, That was the price no matter what I bought. My problem is now that they are going back on their word and I have no idea why. I never told them I wasnt getting anymore and when I called to order more to finish my back yard they told me they wouldnt ***** the price they quoted and I would have to pay double if I wanted those two pallets to finish my back yard! If thats not bad Buisness I dont know what is!

      On May 10th, 2023 Enrinque came to Victory Greens was in our front sale office asking about covering ***** square feet of pavers. Fortunately, my general manager ********************* and main hardscape sales manager were present when Enrinque about what would work good for a60 to 70 pallet  I, *********************, am the president on Victory Greens Enterprises, Inc. mainly administrate but, in this case, felt it would be good to show Enrinque some overstock Pavingstone pavers to help direct him to an affordable alternative to his request for the larger project. During our walk through the price of pavers he looked at in my overstock products were between $450 and $600 respectively. He seemed excited to work with us and said he would get back with us. On May 11, 2023, I met with my staff and we discussed ********'s project. After considering the magnitude of the project I sent Enrinque a text to work with ***** on the special pricing I offered at just $399 per pallet on our overstock if he purchased that quantity of product. I did however tell ***** even an order of 50 pallets or more would qualify for the well below wholesale pricing on our Pavingstone products in our overstock area. The last week of May I texted Enrinque and when he called back let him know or overstock Pavingstone pavers were selling fast and he needed to get into ***** if he wanted to use the overstock pavers. I even offered to sell Enrinque any pavers beyond the overstock pavers would be discounted 5% below wholesale if he bought all of the pavers from Victory Greens (I have the text saved and available for review).After many weeks he finally purchased 3 pallets, which ***** gave him the quoted price. But the overstock product had mostly been sold out. There was plenty of overstock pavers available in a different variety that he did not like.

      I purchased 7 yards of dirt and compost from this business. After shoveling it all into my back yard and into my raised beds, I planted my spring garden. After a few days and then weeks, I noticed that the plants were not thriving or even growing at all. I thought that I needed to make some amendments to the soil and had a soil test done. The results from the soil test were so atrocious that the agency recommended that I don't even plant for 2 more years. I have called Victory Greens multiple times and emailed, requesting a refund for my product. I continue to hear nothing.

      Good afternoon,

      The customer in this complaint called in to ********************, placed an order for the product she ask for, product was delivered and she installed. Victory Greens did not give her any recommendations as to mix, blend, or install her product. We simply took her order. We have no recipe on our website anywhere for mixing products. Therefore we do not believe it is warranted for us to refund this customer for the product she herself ordereed.

      I am rejecting this response because:

       

      "At Victory Greens, we promise to provide the very best quality composts available in the ***** valley. We offer delivery of all our bulk composts, mulches and premium topsoil within a 24-hour period in the Treasure Valley. Often times, our deliveries can be made the same day as the order. If you would like more information about our bulk composts, mulches and topsoil products, please call us at **************. "

       

      "Our garden compost is quality dairy compost. For 26 years, our composter has produced high organic manure based compost for Victory Greens. After developing a system to monitor the microbial population that results in an orderly decomposition of organic matter, he utilizes microorganisms to break down and build our garden compost. Our compost has the appearance of dark rich soil. Our garden compost is weed-free, it has been cooked to 160 degrees to ensure complete decomposition."

       

      "Our premium topsoil comes from an exclusive location near the ***** River. This ******************* topsoil is screened to eliminate rocks, weeds, and other contaminates. It has never been exposed to any chemical treatments and will make your plants grow like you won't believe!"

       

      These are direct quotes taken from the Victory Greens website. In NO location does it say - this compost MUST be amended with soil and cannot sustain growth on its own. It is advertised as a product that is loved by plants for the purpose of plant growth. There is NO information warning the customer that this compost can HARM and DESTROY plants if it is used in isolation. Moreover, when I called to place the order, I spoke to the representative on the phone and specifically mentioned that I was using the product for raised beds. Though I have no record of that call, the purchase that I placed was in response to the phone call. 

       

      In addition, is makes NO sense for a person to purchase compost and soil for raised beds if the end goal is not plant growth. The owner of this company told me on the phone that my purchase would never result in plant growth because of the ratio that I ordered. Why would an expert, then, allow a customer - that was explicit with my intentions - to move forward with this incredibly laborious job? If anything, there was gross negligence on the part of the company in not providing proper recommendation for the customer. Communication on the website should be explicit and clear, which it is not. 

       

      Refund is still in order.
