      I have several small complaints. I rent a home that is managed by Morehouse. When I moved in, I was told the property would be move in ready. The day I moved in, it was if the previous tenant had moved our hours before- nothing had been cleaned. The house was disgusting. Unfortunately, I had nowhere else to go as I am from Texas and moved here with the promise the house would be 100% ready for me. The toilets still had p*** stains in them, the floors were horribly dirty, there was kitty litter thrown around the garage. The walls had marks all over them. There were a few dishes still left in the cabinets. There were used sponges and cleaners below the sinks. There was active mold in the refrigerator, especially in the freezer. Grease drippings were left in the oven, it smoked very bad the first time I used it and set off alarms. Several light bulbs were out. Several electrical outlets did not work. I was told the computer desk stayed with the home and it was gone when I moved in. Old dirty scuffed and chipped pint throughout the entire house with marks from the previous tenant. Shower curtains were left in the shower and had mold on the bottom. There were cobwebs all over the ceilings throughout the house. The attic had three different wasps nest inside it I had to remove. The trash bins were in the garage and completely filled and unusable. The garden area was overrun with weeds (noting this because I was told I needed to hire a gardener to bring it back to useable status). I made a list when I moved in and it took me 4 straight days of cleaning before I felt it wasnt dirty to the point I could bring my items in from the garage. I asked for a month and a half before I received a nasty phone call saying Im a needy tenant and they had approved a one time cleaning. One lady came out and mopped and dusted and spent 5 hours and then left, but my belongings were already in and she only did accessible common areas. Now I have a broken drier and its been 3.5 weeks.

      Sorry to hear you are so unhappy with the condition of the home upon move in.We have made every effort to address all of your issues. When you reported the dryer issue we initiated a claim with the ********************* They diagnosed the problem and as you know from our communication with you on Friday they are returning Monday to install the needed part. The delay is not something we had control over. We understand your frustration. ****** at no time did anyone say you were a needy tenant. Everyone has certain expectations and we work hard to do everything in our control. As for discontinuing our management contract, it has nothing to do with you and your tenancy. Our office made the decision to discontinue management with this investor.
