After having an *********** inspector check the work done by "I got your Six Plumbing", I was advised the work was done incorrectly and did not adhere to the ************** plumbing code. I have now had to hire a different plumbing contractor to correct and complete the plumbing that was done by "I Got Your Six Plumbing" in the amount of $2500.00."I Got Your Six Plumbing" has made no attempt to reconcile the situation and issue a refund for work that was paid for under the false pretense that the work had been completed and within *********** plumbing code. Business response

      10/11/2022

Tell us why here...This claim is absolutely 100% fraudulent. I Got Your Six Plumbing was hired to help with some rough-in plumbing for a small bathroom remodel. I Got Your Six Plumbing, was told at the beginning of the job that customer did not want us to pull a permit. At no time during the job did customer mention anything about permits or if we had scheduled any inspections.  I Got Your Six Plumbing would never jeopardize our business and our license over a $4300 job. Everything that was done was discussed with the customer prior, we never hid job details nor did we try and deceive anyone.  We did everything we could to try and make the customers deadline for there remodel but he worked nights and at numerous occasions did not answer his door when we showed up for work in the morning.  Unfortunately this is not our only job and could only try to reschedule for another time, This happened several times... I Got Your Six Plumbing also did additional work at no expense to the customer. The Customer requested we Install his wife's shower valve that she bought off Amazon, at that point in the job we had already installed a **** valve and plumbing, we had to reopen  wall and install new valve. New install took 3 additional hours which we did not bill for.  Everything we did was complete that we agreed upon on our Invoice, we explained also that there was some unconventional venting we did to save him the ****** of having to reopen walls, he agreed that was a good idea.  Again at this point no permit was spoken about nor did the customer ask if I was having an inspection. ******* was done and tile was about to be installed.
Customer was angry that I had not made his deadline, he ghosted me, we reached out numerous of times with no response.  Customer decided on his own to call another plumber. At this point the other plumber advises him that he needs to pull a permit.  Customer pulls a homeowner permit and calls in for inspection, obviously there was a few things in the venting that did not pass, these issues were discussed with customer prior to doing them.. after realizing that things needed to be redone, instead of contacting I Got Your Six Plumbing, the customer used another plumber which again obviously charged him to do what I told the customer to do in the beginning.  ********************** should've been given the opportunity to make the job right. We are an honest and ethical business and would have never taken advantage of any of our customers and always make our jobs right.   This customer saying we conned him out of money, that can't be farther from the truth. If anything is going on he is trying to get work for free, he wants all of his money back, plus the cost of the new plumbers work.  We were ghosted and ignored, when customer decided to pull a permit and work was flagged we should have got the opportunity to fix our work, but no we were called frauds.  customer stated we refused to finish work, that is a lie, he ignored all our attempts to reach out. We would have never refused to fix the job. This claim is absolutely false and this customer has dragged our good name through the mud. We have proof of all stages of the job, also of all the attempts to show up and due work which were unsuccessful due to customer sleeping. This customer should be sued for slander and false statements made about us

      Complaint: 18139204

I am rejecting this response because:

In response to and based on the response given by I Got Your Six Plumbing it is clear that they refuse to accept responsibility for their actions. In the response from I Got Your Six Plumbing there are a multitude of falsities in their recount of events including their statement of, This claim is absolutely 100% fraudulent. As well as their statement of, I Got Your Six Plumbing was hired to help with some rough-in plumbing for a small bathroom remodel, I hired I Got Your Six Plumbing solely to complete all of the plumbing for the remodel, not their stated pretense of helping to do the plumbing.

Nevertheless, the job was done poorly and not within the ************** building code. Although I was told that they would be pulling a plumbing permit for the job, they continue to make statements that I instructed them not to. This does not make any reasonable sense when the ************** building code requires permits for Plumbing, HAVAC, and Electrical. I Got Your Six Plumbing being a licensed plumbing contractor should have pulled a permit but did not.
I hired I Got Your Six Plumbing due to the fact that I am not a plumber, and I wanted the work done correctly. A reasonable person could assume when you hire a professional plumber, they are going to take responsibility for completing the work correctly. I Got Your Six Plumbingadvised me the work was done other than small things that could be done when the rest of the bathroom was completed. I Got Your Six Plumbing was paid in good faith that they were telling the truth and they gladly took the money with the malice and forethought that the work was not done.

To address I Got Your Six Plumbing statement regarding the shower valve they had to reinstall, they were advised prior to installing the valve for the shower that a system was ordered and being shipped. After being told this I Got Your Six Plumbingtook it upon themselves to install the wrong valve and had to reinstall the correct one when it arrived. I will reiterate the fact that I am not a plumber, so after I told I Got Your Six Plumbing this information, I was not aware that I would have to supervise everything they was doing to the plumbing. I Got Your Six Plumbingdid reinstall the valve and did not charge me, which it being their mistake it made reasonable sense they would not charge me.
I Got Your Six Plumbing became extremely inconsistent and non-communicative after they were paid in full for the job. They would reschedule consistently and not respond to attempts to contact them when I needed them to finish the work. I Got Your Six Plumbing caused not just a delay in the entire bathroom remodel project, but also caused us to renegotiate the contract we had for the tile contractor. This caused us to spend thousands of dollars more for the tile contractor due to the fact I Got Your Six Plumbing would not finish the plumbing in a timely manner. Instead, it appeared based on their behavior and statements of being at other jobs when I asked them to come finish the work, that they were prioritizing other jobs that had not been paid in full over ours, which was already fully paid in the amount of $4370.40 ************* Dollars.

Due to  the inability of I Got Your Six Plumbing to finish the work, and in an effort to not delay the bathroom remodel any further, I contacted two other plumbers to come look at finishing the work. After having two separate plumbing contractors from different companies come and look at the work. I believed there would only be a small amount of work left to be done. Both contractors advised me the work was done entirely wrong and was not complete. After learning this as well as that a plumbing permit was not pulled for our job, I pulled a permit and requested the ************** plumbing inspection. The inspector looked at the work done by I Got Your Six Plumbing as well as flagged it for being done incorrectly. I believe it to be reasonable not to want the same plumber who did all the work incorrectly to come back to my house after they lied about the work and took my money.
Throughout the entirety of my interactions with I Got Your Six Plumbing, they were inconsistent and constantly failed to show up at scheduled times to do the work, they would take days to respond after not showing up; with excuses to the effect of caught up on another job and they are a one-man crew.

I gave I Got Your Six Plumbing ample opportunities to resolve the current situation and asked they refund the money I paid to them  for the incorrect and incomplete work as well as cover the damages they caused. But they refuse to take ownership of their wrong doings,as well as making attempts to blame me when they present themselves as a licensed plumbing contractor. Not only was all the work not completed, it was done so incorrectly as well as without a State issued plumbing permit. This caused me to hire a different plumber who had to fix and redo the work done by I Got Your Six Plumbing, causing additional damages in the amount of $2500.00 ************* Dollars.

The response from I Got Your Six Plumbing to this complaint did not address any issues or even offer a viable solution. Rather their response consisted of a multitude of fictitious recounts of events as well as attempting to set the pretense that they did not do anything wrong. I believe their response to be petulant and lacking professionalism.

      Sincerely,

      *********************

Tell us why here...I Got Your Six Plumbing, will and would always make jobs right. These issues that the homeowner had were never expressed to I Got Your Six Plumbing, and if they were, any and all issues would have been resolved and fixed.  At no time were we made aware of problems with the job that was done, and we were never given the opportunity to make anything right per the customer.  We are very sorry for any miscommunication throughout this process,  unfortunately the statements made in regards to permits are not true. And false statements have been made about the integrity and honesty of I Got Your Six Plumbing.  By no means we're we dishonest nor did we set out to Con or deceive anyone. The Customers recollection of the events that transpired we're nearly one sided, and did not express the true events that took place.  Unfortunately with the inconsistent schedule of the customer it made it very hard to make there expected finish date.  I Got Your Six Plumbing has other customers and cannot continue to make appointments and then having to reschedule them due to customers sleep schedule.  We will absolutely take full responsibility for any issues with scheduling, life does happen and issues do arise, where jobs have to be rescheduled.  But at no point was this a diversion to not complete promised work.  At the moment the customer realized the work was not done to agreed quality or expectations, I Got Your Six Plumbing should have been notified and given the opportunity to fix any discrepancies in work completed. Also if customer at that point decided to pull permits, I Got Your Six Plumbing should also have been notified so proper permits could have got pulled and work could have been adjusted to pass code. Permits were not pulled on job per Initial conversation, prior to starting work. All jobs where permits are being pulled are clearly stated on Invoice, and permit cost is listed in a line item. Per Invoice no permit is stated nor did we charge for one.. A permit was not pulled to help save customer money on additional work that would have had to been done to be up to ***** state code. I Got Your Six Plumbing would never jeopardize their Plumbing license for a job. And would never put their business in jeopardy for doing subpar or out of code Plumbing work.  So for the customer to make statements that we purposely conned him or ripped him off are totally false..  No job is worth jeopardizing your business over...
I Got Your Six Plumbing also did extra work for the customer and did not charge them, to try and help with the timeline of work getting completed.  I Got Your Six Plumbing originally installed a **** shower valve which is stated on the invoice, customer was fully aware of brand of valve that was put in, and never once stated we messed up and installed the wrong valve. The customer simply stated his wife bought a valve assembly off of Amazon and would like it installed, I explained to him that not all the finish trim kits fit every valve, and that if he wanted this installed I would have to remove the one that was already installed and reinstall the new one.  He asked if I would do that, we agreed to do that for him, we even came out on a weekend to do that so they could continue the project, at no time did we ask for additional money.  The customer stated we messed up and installed the wrong valve in his statement, that is false and the brand that was originally agreed upon is clearly stated in our Invoice...  We should have charged for our additional work which would have been a total of 4 hours of labor. Documentation is attached to back up are statements.

The customer has been very good with there words and have unfortunately manipulated the entire account of the job.  They have made a good and believable story of how we intentionally conned and stole from them, unfortunately they are all false and have made our company into a bunch of thieves.   Also false allegations have been made on several social media outlets which have expressed that I Got Your Six Plumbing changed there name because of similar allegations by other people that we have supposedly conned and ripped off, so we changed are name to avoid legal issues and losing business in town.  These statements are more then false and have deformation written all over them, these are made up statements and should be prosecuted.  These false allegations have and will damage further business,  this customer has no insight on this matter and cannot continue to make these allegations.
Previously stated, I Got Your Six Plumbing should have been given the opportunity to make all issues with this job right prior to calling another plumber to correct or finish any work. This customer is asking for the entire amount of job, plus wants the complete amount for calling another plumber.    So in reality he is trying to get an entire job for free.  This customer made the choice to call someone else to do work rather then calling us to fix any issues.  This customer is asking for us to make this right, he has taken the opportunity for us to make it right, and now is wanted an entire job for free...  Who is the con artist here???    I Got Your Six Plumbing has spoken with the plumber that came out to fix plumbing code issues, and he stated the additional work was very minimal and not extreme like the customer is trying to convey.  Also the plumbing inspector was also contact which had come to inspect job, he also stated that work was minimal to get plumbing up to code.
I Got Your Six Plumbing has a great reputation in Mountain Home and this Customers continued remarks that we continue to conn people is a complete lie.

If the opportunity had been given to help make things right concerning work, I Got Your Six Plumbing would have done so with no argument.  We pride ourselves in being honest and always strive to complete work in a professional manner.
