My dryer failed in March of 2023 and I contacted Mr. ********************** and a technician came out, gave me a quote (not itemized, nor did it disclose labor cost etc, I just assumed honest intent) and on Mar 31, the technician came out, spent 20 mins working and then left. The dryer was repaired. However I got to thinking that the cost ($391) was exorbitantly high for one small part and 20 mins of labor. I later was unable to get an itemized receipt and after multiple emails and calls and texts I received one. The labor was $180 for 20 minutes and they claim they have no set labor charge, its at will and the part was a local pick up and they charged me $20 for shipping cost of it. They cannot, in good faith, charge me $180 for 20 minutes of labor. That is unethical and absolute robbery. They are absolute garbage and make you beg for an itemized receipt.Business response

To whom it may concern:
We have been in contact with ***** about her dryer. She asked for a itemized receipt and we sent one as requested. Our system is set up as a total job or Task, and not by the hourly rate. The pricing is set by corporation and is based on what the average job cost are for our area. That is why we give the customer a quote up front and have them approve and sign for it, before doing any repair work. She new up front what it was going to cost and did not ask for an itemized receipt before the repair. She signed all paper work before the work was ever started. We warranty all parts and labor for 1 year so we are not the cheapest appliance repair in the area. We are also not the most expensive.

I am rejecting this response because:I am seeking a refund for the s*** service and lack of up front statement that their labor was literal robbery. You cannot steal from people when you are a business. You are unethical in your practices and when I signed for the repairs, I was under the impression that you had ethical pay practices but you clearly did not. You are thieves. F****** thieves.
