Car trouble: climate control on touch screen Brought car in to American Tire on April 6. Car was there for 2 full weeks, completion date delayed multiple times. I had to call almost daily bc they weren't calling me. Was told the issue was power steering, and paid $2300.Picked up car on April 20. Within less than 24 hours my car had same issue. I took a video and called (Friday April 21)Brought car back Monday morning April 24. Since then the car is STILL THERE. I've called, my husband has called, and I've gone in person. I keep being told the car isn't having an issue even though I showed the manager 2 different videos of it happening. I am told by manager "*****" that he will call me with an update. Still no phone call from him. I'm almost a full month without my car. They say the car needs to show the issue while they are driving it in order for them to diagnose the problem. But this wasn't the case when they charged me $2300 the first time. I asked why they charged me that if it didn't fix it and all he said was that they thought it was "connected" bc it's an electrical issue.I've called on:April 6, 10, 17, 18, 19, 21, 26, and May 1 I am looking into having an attorney send a letter of demand to fix the car and at the very least CALL ME and explain to me what is happening. I need my vehicle. I have a 4 year old daughter and I work. I'm completely stuck bc I've already paid them and now I don't have access to my car.
