Our ac has been broken since August of last year!(which it has been 7 months) Ive talked to affinity multiple times about it and whenever I ask if there is an update I receive just no or no answer at all. I went to the office, she wasnt there. I have tried calling multiple times and had to leave a voicemail, with no response. I told them all I want is an update, if it will get fixed or if we can receive a discount on rent. Nothing. Our lease is up in a few months and Im sure they will just let it go until then.Business response

The part was under warranty.
The owner was working on tracking down the contractor
to be able to use the Warranty. We had no luck with the warranty. So, we have parts on order. It been winter and its been cold weather lit snow a few days ago. We could not even fix the ** until it gets warmer.

We are renting an apartment from them for our son in school. We were required to purchase rental insurance which we did through State Farm in *********. We submitted the policy info to affinity on their portal as required. Affinity has been charging their own fee for insurance on top of what we have purchased as they asked. They will not respond to our texts, emails and there is now way to leave a message or talk to someone. I believe we are being scammed by them and it has been going on since last September. appifolo will not charge insurance if tenant has submitted there own insurance in their tenant portal. I would recommend they reach out to appfoil to see what they can do to fix this technical error.

I am currently renting a home from Affinity Rental Management. Before I moved in I did a tour of the home. The home was in livable condition. Other than the smell coming from the carpets. I mentioned this to the landlord whos name is ****. I told her I like the home just worried about the smell of the carpets. (Previous tenants had animals IE cats and dogs.) I know who the previous tenants are as I work with the children's father. The children stated they had multiple cats and dogs and they were urinating on the floor. **** tells me yes it smells bad but I am going to have them shampooed and cleaned. That does in fact get done. That did not take the smell away it covered it. I do do an inspection sheet for the house after move in and made it clear the carpets stink still and are making the house stink. Im unable to use 50% of the home because of the smell its unbearable at this point after the weather gotten hotter. I have to use fans and freebreez plug ins to keep the smell down. I do not have the money to continually run my power bill up for these items to be used. I have on multiple occasions made maintenance orders and request to get this delt with and **** refuse to deal with the issue. The most she has done is had the maintenance people come over and tear the padding up. Even then they left a mess and havent been back to put new padding down. Leaving my basement torn apart and a mess. Its been 3 weeks since they tore the padding up. She refuses to let me out of my lease and in her words have to deal with itBusiness response

We have had multiple contractors in the property to remedy the drain backing up and water going into an unused room and hallway. Smell came from pets and water mixture. ******* can say it was from past pets, but he also has 2 pets of his own.
Thank goodness, ******* nor his kids live in the Basement of this property. So, there were no personal items that were ruined. It did not affect there day to day living space
There were some scheduling issues. Due to ******* 2 aggressive dogs not being kenneled when the contractor showed up at their Scheduled time to do work.
This situation was unpleasant for all, thank goodness it has been fixed for a while now.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that the work completed is satisfactory to me. As most things in the response arent true and can be proven not true. The work was completed. The carpet cleaning company did an awesome job. Highly recommend. Issue has been resolved.
