Dropped my truck off at ****'s Glass and Tint on the 20th. They had it for four working days. They were going to replace the windshield, the driver's door glass, and tint all the windows on the cab with ceramic tint. When I picked my truck up the door panels were not on the door. I was missing parts of my door panels. The weather stripping from the side window was sitting on my seat. There's scratches in the new tint they installed, lint between the tint and the glass. The tint cut too short. I talked to **** about the tint not matching on the windows. He told me he had to go with a different percentage on the back so they match due to the factory tint, which is understandable. What's not understandable is the color hue change. While talking with **** in the parking lot he said they put carbon tint on my back windows and back glass. The business ordered me the parts they lost on my door panel. When I went in to pick up the parts, I asked why I paid for ceramic tint when they installed carbon. ****** looked at my invoice and said I got ceramic tint. I informed her that I knew the invoice said that and I knew I paid for it, but it's not what I received. ****** told me **** must've misspoken. I went to another tint shop in town and asked them to tell me what tint was on my truck. They were 100% certain the back glass and back windows, just like **** said, were carbon tint. They were also kind enough to explain how cheap the tint was that I paid a hefty premium for.Total amount paid was; $1,659.25. I have no problem paying for the glass they installed. But I'm going to have to pay a professional tint company to repair and replace the atrocious job ****'s Glass and Tint did to my truck. Invoices attached. I am seeking a refund of $884.00 for the paid services of tint.

We contacted the customer to schedule him for an appointment to fix his window film issues. We offered to retint any windows he felt were not correct. As to how long we had his vehicle, we did not have an opening, so he chose to leave his vehicle for a couple of days so we could work on it in between appointments. We did get the work done as quickly as we were able to with a completely booked schedule. If the retint is not satisfactory, we will remove the film and issue a refund for the window film.

I am rejecting this response because:

This company is not touching any of my vehicles again. I do not want them touching my truck in fear of retaliation. One of their employees was staring me down at a restaurant already. I'll gladly rip the tint off and get a refund.

As I mentioned, I did not get the tint I paid for. I PAID for ceramic tint on four (4) side windows AND the rear window. I got ceramic tint on two windows. The other two windows and the rear window are a cheaper carbon tint, confirmed by another professional tint shop and ****. They removed the tint on the rear windows and replaced it with the same tint in the same percentage. Now why would ANYBODY pay to have you remove tint and then pay to have you put the same stuff on.

I asked the company for a quality product(ceramic tint) they said they could do, I paid for that product, I did not receive that. They sold me an inferior product at the premium price. That, in addition to, the scratches, the missing parts, me putting my truck back together in their parking lot.

      Sincerely,

In regards to Complaint ID: ********, The resolution with business was to mail me a check nearly 50 days ago, this hasn't happened. It's hardly surprising, but I was supposed to contact you if the business didn't follow through with their resolution.

Made an appointment last week, told them I had a gift certificate, was told it would take a couple hours. Showed up to appointment this morning, showed them the gift certificate and left car. Hadn’t heard from them in almost 4 hours, gave them a call, was told they hadn’t started it, it’s a first come first serve and it would be 5 before I could get it. I told them I had to be back to Blackfoot by 3 to get kids from school. They said there was no way they would have it done by then and I could schedule another appointment. Why would I schedule another appointment when they didn’t keep the original one? I believe they were putting my car off because it was donated to a fund raiser. I paid $150 for the certificate at the fundraiser and have nothing to show for it.

I deeply apologize for this incident. We do NOT normally operate in this manner and I am working to get to the bottom of the issue and resolve it so it does not happen again. I will mail a refund for the $150 spent to win the certificate immediately and again, I do apologize for this bad experience!!

      Thank you,
