Sandpoint Carpet One improperly installed the Engineered hardwood flooring in our house. The faulty installation has been documented and confirmed by the flooring manufacturer, *****, by an independent inspector, and by 2 additional floor installation professionals, and has been acknowledged by a representative of Sandpoint Carpet One. After one failed attempt by Carpet One to perform minimal fixes to the flooring, Carpet One has delayed any resolution for several years. We finally engaged our General contractor to negotiate resolution. Our General contractor negotiated an agreement that we could receive a full refund if we so chose. We did so, however Carpet One then refused to honor their agreement, a verbal contract. They now propose to replace the flooring, but they refuse to cover the costs to **, estimated at $28000, to move our belongings, remove and replace all moldings and appliances, address subfloor leveling, etc. We continue to demand that they ************* with their verbal agreement to refund our money so we can hire a REPUTABLE flooring company who will do the job properly.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I have 100% represented the factual situation. Carpet One has utterly failed as a provider, now documented by three separate experts. Further they have failed to back their actions and responsibilities as a professional company.
