***** agreed to begin restoration of my **** Jeep Grand ******* in August of 2020. He told me it would be a rather long process due to finding parts. He told me, though not in writing or with any details, he expected the cost to run about $14,000. At that time he said he would need money up front in order to purchase the parts as he found them. I agreed to a $10,000. Down payment. Checking in with him once in awhile, he was always waiting on some parts. So about a month ago, some time in June I think, I discovered his business location closed. No contact info available. I found my jeep in the back of his former shop. My friend arranged for a tow truck and now I at least still have the jeep! But not one repair or replacement done. No sign of ***** or my money! There's still a recording for *****'s tire and repair. I left messages on 6/12/23, 6/14, 6/15 and 6/19. No response of course.
