Our rental house is 5 minutes from KWI office. 1st day after reporting no water through maintenance report, text to ****** ********* left with after hours emergency person; we had to go to there office because we had not heard back from them. Told they were working on getting plumber. 2nd day we had to go to there office again; we had not heard from them or plumber. Told they were not sending plumber; they assumed it was our pipes frozen & we had to just wait until ground dethaws; which could be weeks or months. I called & left message asking to be put up in hotel. They closed early that day due to snow & never responded. Next day owner responded with text stating it was our ***************** responsibility to get us a hotel. Later that day; text from owner at 4pm asking for reponse by 4:30 when they closed; they had contacted previous ************** experienced same issue. The renters put a space heater in the pump house and ran it all winter so needed to know if we want them to drop off space ****************** cord by 4:30 for us to hook up. And my fianc was told this yesterday at the officewhich was a LIE! I responded at 4:15 when I finally got out of surgery at work. Asked to have them come out & hook up heater; I was at work & fianc was asleep as he was out all night doing snow removal; no hot shower for 3 days. And need to bring a long extension cord to run around outside of fence as dogs will chew the cord. She text at 4:31pm stating it was now after hours so we had to wait until morning. Next day at 12:15pm (first time in 3 days) a maintenance guy put a space heater in pump house, ran extension cord through dog yard (dogs can chew it), wrapped insulation around well pipe & threw bucket over it (leaving insulation exposed; dogs can chew it), & put insulation on one wall of pump house. Told us we need to watch our dogs so they dont chew it. It took 4 hours before we had water. If they had come out 3 days ago when reported; would have had water.
