On 6/07/23 I was at ****** house, the person writing the review about my company. First things first, I put batteries in the controller to get the system up and running, but the controller was bad. I brought it to Kevins attention; that the controller needs to be replace, he said OK and please check the whole system and I did. I told him and showed him, where there were broken sprinklers and the rotors were leaking at the top seal. He told me to do what needs to be done, get it going, it didnt work last year 2022. I let him know I had to pick up the parts & the controller. I will let him know soon when I would be able to come back due to the busy schedule, he said no problem.He also said dont worry about being paid, Im good for the money! I was in touch with ***** letting him know I will be out there as soon as I could he said no problem,I kept him informed.
On 6/26/23 I was at ****** house and started the work,there was a lot going at his house since he was putting on the market to sell.As I start the work replacing the controller and the bad sprinklers, I found other problems with his system and brought to his attention about the leak I found.I was waiting on the painter to finish, while doing other repairs, so I could do what needed to be done in the area he was working. Then i moved on to something else. He said I was on the phone; I was talking on my ear bubs to my 85-year mother,I was also on the phone with my vendors, and my wife who schedules my work. She delivered me parts I needed for ****** job and she also brought me some lunch,not sure why that was brought up. I was also on the phone with on the phone with *****.
Im running a service business, so I have to talked to my customers. By the end of day, I ask ***** for money to cover the parts, he told me between him and his wife they only had $100.00 between them, maybe he needed to be up front about that before I got started on the repair work which most do that and ask for estimate. He said he is good for it. I always keep ***** informed did I reschedule, yes, but I would call him, and he said thanks for letting him know.
On 6/27/23 I finish the work and ***** and I walked through the sprinklers, he told he never had coverage like that before. He was another happy customer. I ask about the sprinkler that wouldnt go back down he said leave them. Then I tested the backflow assembly and it failed. I pull it part and clean it and tested it and again it failed. I told him I need to order a rubber kit. He failed to tell me he got a letter from the water ***** which I could have stop the fine, he got mad at me and let me go, but I wasnt going to do any more work there since he didnt pay me for the materials cost. I told him on 7/12/23 if I didnt get my payment I would lien his house, then he really got mad and said bring it on. He did finally pay the invoice in full on the 18th of July and then wrote this unfair review.
