I was trying to establish care a new family medicine facility, due to scheduling reasons. They are opened later in the day for me to take my children there. I got all the way up to the part where they ask about insurance, After I proceeded to tell the receptionist I was on ********* She told me I had to go through the process of switching with the **************** I called Healthy connections and they prompted me to get a referral from my current health care provider until July, so that in July I can switch to Fall river at open enrollment. I called Fall river back and got the same receptionist and she said that is not how it works and she doubts that my current health care provider will give me the referral. I asked if she would like me to call and get it and she said no she will call them and try, but she doubts they will do it. 2 days later I called Fall River back because I did not hear anything. Same receptionist answered and I asked about the status, She said "I do not know what you're talking about" I tried giving her the details again and she cut me off and said "look I have 15 years dealing with this stuff and they will probably not give the referral. I asked why she was being so difficult and could I please speak to the office manager. She hung up on me and refused to answer my 2 calls when I tried calling back. I entered the extension for the nurses station and I was told they would leave a message with the office manager. I have not heard back from this medical office.
