      I used Weed **************** in the summer of 2021. At the end of the summer I contacted them and informed them I did not want their services any longer. They were late on their applications and I had many weed escapes which they never made right. I paid my bill in full and was done with the service. They made no contact with me in 2022, which makes sense because I had cancelled the service. In the spring of this year (2023), they sent me a text on May 1 saying that they would be at my property to apply "Season Long Weed Control". I figured it was an error and did not have time to respond. They showed up to my property and applied a herbicide without my authorization. I received another text on June 20 telling me they were coming to apply "Summer *************** I did not see the text until after they had applied the fertilizer, once again, without my authorization. They then sent me a bill and have been harassing me for payment ever since. I contacted them today and told them I did not authorize them to come onto my property and apply herbicides or fertilizers and that I would not pay for something I did not authorize. I was speaking with *******. ******* was very rude and told me it was my fault that I did not respond to the text messages and that they had a right to go on my property and make the lawn application. She told me that if I did not pay the bill they would send it to collections. I feel I need to make a formal complaint and I need the assistance of the BBB to know how I can proceed without being required to make payment and the bill not going to collections. They did not have my authorization to come on my property and apply anything and I do not feel I should have to pay for something I did not authorize or ask to be done. I feel that this is a dishonest company and they are trying to take advantage of people.

      This past summer I received a mail coupon from Weed Man lawn services to perform six fertilization and weed control applications on my yard for the price of five. I called the office and paid for the six applications with my credit card. This spring I was notified on April 10 by a technician from Weed Man lawn services that he was going to stop by my house and perform another application. I immediately informed him that I was not having ******* do any work for me this summer. When I came home from work, the technician had went ahead and ignored my direction and applied an application to my lawn. I notified their office that this was not something that I wanted nor had requested. I have since been invoiced three separate times with finance charges for some thing that I did not request, nor wanted to have done. The office has informed me that I signed some kind of reoccurring service agreement with them, which I never did. I have asked for a copy of the agreement which they have not been able to provide me, but they keep sending me an invoice stating that I owe them about $80. I do not owe them any money and I do not want this sent to collections for something that I had not requested.

      Weed Man Rexburg came and performed services on our lawn without our knowledge or ever contacting them on 3/28/3022.They left a **** (attached) on our door addressed to the former residents who moved in December 2018. We emailed a picture of the **** and called the company explaining the situation that we would not be paying for something that we did not ever request with no response. We later in April received an updated **** with the customer name switched to ************************* (assumed to be a mistaken spelling of *****) which is also attached. I emailed with both bills attached and called multiple times. I talked to someone who said they would call me back. No one returned my call. We received another **** in late April with a late fee. I was finally able to talk to someone who said it would be resolved. We just received another **** dated May 31, 2022 with additional late fees. We are no longer interested in trying to work through the company as they are incredibly unresponsive. The customer number associated with this account is REXBURG-0008164. The invoice number from the 3/28/2022 service that was not requested is ******.

      To whom it may concern:

       

      This account belonged to a previous customer that has sold his property to another owner while still under our service agreement.  They neglected to let ******* of East ***** know they sold the service property and therefore our services continued. We have been notified by the new owner that he was not interested in our lawn care services and any and all services that have been completed have been written off and we have canceled all services with the new property owner since becoming aware of the situation, as we have, do and will continue to do in such circumstances.
