The landlord ******************* is not at all fit for this position. Not only have I hear other negative experiences regarding her, I have also had issues. We have had one thing after another where she denies saying something. For example we were told there was a sprinkler system in place. Then later she tells us there isnt one and we have to water the grass on our own. Thats one example. We had an incident with the safety of the deck and we were told it was ok enough. We almost sent our daughter to the ** because of the incident. The maintenance guy is very rude. He doesnt follow directions or follow boundaries. The list goes on of how disrespected we have felt.Business response

Hello.
We are in located IN ******* *****, and this tenant is speaking about a 2 bedroom, one bath house, with a full garage and a fenced backyard. The current tenant purchased the remainder of lease from another person in april of this year. The listing from the old tenant and the information we gave to them and that is also in lease, states that the tenant is responsible to mow and water the lawn. It was stated very clearly when they signed the lease. We have asked them to maintain (first to mow) the lawn no less than 4 times, as they were not completing this task. The lawn is now burning up and we have asked them to water the lawn 3 different times and provided the hoses to do so. This tenant did not pay rent on time the very first month that they lived with us, and I worked with them for 6 weeks and did not charge them any additional fees to catch up. They are now receiving rent assistance from the state or somewhere else, and that is totally fine as rent has been paid on time for the last 2 months.
We have been in constant communications with this tenant about the deck. They would like someone to come in and paint the deck for them. We told them when they moved in, that if they would provide the labor, we would provide the product to restain the deck. They did not want to do this. Our maintenance man services over 800 beds in *******, and he is polite and respectful and helpful. We never have complaints about his work or his demeanor. All of our interaction with this tenant from our end has been professional and positive and helpful and patient.
I have been very patient and accommodating to the best of my ability, and have been working with tenants for almost 20 years. If there is anything else that I can do to help satisfy this tenant I would be happy to do so.
