Took my 2022 Santa Fe with **** miles on it in on June 9th to have a decal sticker installed on the back window of my car. They scratched the back window beyond buffing. Called them they told me to bring it in to look at it. The owner proceeded to accuse us of scratching the window and wanted to recreate the install to see if they did it. Multiple witnesses told me he said they look like the type of people and their friends to do something like this, we just want to get free stuff from businessess I then spoke to the other owner who did the install. He said he would replace the windshield and get it ordered. 3 weeks later I called. He still had not ordered due to being to busy. He then ordered the windshield. On July 15th he said he would do the install cause they use to own a body shop. He text me that night asking to call, he told me he scratched the paint. He should of asked for help but he was to busy it needed to go to a body shop. I left my car over night like asked. Come the next morning I found horrible scratches down to the metal. He said he would pay for it just get a bid. After weeks of calling around getting bids I found one that could get me in less than 4 months. August 6th a heavy rainstorm came and flooded the whole back of my car. I got the bid and emailed it. Called to tell him about the water. He told me it doesnt surprise me. I just put polyurethane and set it in there because it was just going to come out anyways he didnt care. After telling the body shop that will fix the car. The shop told me this was a huge liability and is completely dangerous! Called seger about rental & bid cause its going to be 3 days in shop seger told me the bid was outrageous, and unhappy to pay it as it is. Next day I contacted to make sure he got a bid. He emailed back saying yes. Emailed again on Aug 11th about the check. Aug 12th still no response. Both tail lights need replaced cause one is cracked the other has primer that wont come off. Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have spoken to T & S Auto who is performing the repairs to my vehicle. After the mechanic assessing the damages, the rear windshield was not properly in place/secured which had resulted to the water leakage as well the back windshield wiper make a girding noise and to not function correctly. Once it had been placed correctly, it has now been corrected. The water leakage was a significant amount but has shown no additional signs of damages such mold, rot or mildew from the headliner being soaked. The wiring is intact with no further water damage. I will go ahead and proceed with finalizing my complaint and cash the check to make the transaction final between this business and I.
