HIred this company to remodel a kitchen. Parts of the island cabinet drawers arrived damaged. We were told that that replacements were on the way. We had to make the final payment before we were satisfied with the work. Things needed to be replaced and now drawers on other cabinets are not working properly . We have tried several, several times to reach the owner **** on his cell phone and he is no where to be found. The business number has been disconnected. Even found him on ******** and reached out with no response. We are extremely disappointed in this unprofessional behavior and want to get these things replaced and repaired.Initial Complaint

Signed a contract to remodel home we were purchasing. Signed on 12/16/20.Paid GT Renovations $118,000 over a nine month for a $160,000 contract. They demo'd the project and only part of the work was completed when we moved from ******* on 5/29/21. We tried working with them to finish the project, and ultimately replaced them on 9/28/21. At the time, the home was still uninhabitable and occupancy had been removed/revoked. We hired a new contractor and continued living in hotels and extended stays until moving in January 2022, which exceeded $10,000 of additional hotel and storage costs.Upon separation, he broke into our home to get his tools (~$1,500). I was home at the house and allowed him to take them. He verbally apologized for the work not done and said, "I am in the wrong, and you did nothing wrong. I would have done the same thing and will work with you in refunding moneys owed." He later stated in texts and emails that nothing is owed. Further, we found $1,500 of missing supplies we had purchased on our own that he has yet to return (sump pump, ceiling fans, door locks, and backsplash tiles). We hired a new contractor and the contractor had to re-do the work that GT Renovations had not brought to code, incomplete, and/or was done incorrectly. Further, he did basement work and moved electrical without filing the proper permits (which we paid them for). Materials we ordered were incomplete and/or defective materials. In total, it is costing us nearly $50,000 of additional funds to complete the project. Finally, we have had prior contractors contact us stating that they had not been paid by GT Renovations. We are seeking a) return of $1,500 of missing supplies and b) payment plan in the amount of $80,000.We can provide pictures and photos of the before, during, and after construction of the home. At the present, we have not filed any court documents.
