****************** prescribed me Venlafaxine. (back story, wrongfully diagnosed, based on symptoms I have ********* and now I am on a very addictive drug that I cannot get off of.) I called the doctor's ****** on a Saturday morning, I spoke the front desk person. I very clearly said that I needed her to submit a prescription that day because they close Sunday. The person that took my call did not pass the message to ******************. I was in bed for four days experiencing HORRIBLE withdrawals, mind you I have 3 kids, 7, 3 and 2. I called crying Monday morning, ****************** saw me and said that her staff did not let her know. She prescribed me medicine which took another full day to receive. The entire experience was horrible, not only for me, but for my kids and husband as there was nothing that they could do.I was sent a bill on December , 20 ***** for the appointment that I had to make because the staff did not do their job. I have since then called, left voicemails expressing how I should not be responsible for paying that fee. Their response? They have to see me every 3 months in order for me to get my medicine.Effexor, (Venlafaxine), a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) used to treat major depressive disorder. I am currently on 75mg of this, I tried to go down to 35mg and my body could not take the withdrawals, ****************** then prescribed me Xanax to help with the withdrawals, another VERY addictive drug. This doctor, the staff and facility are looking at me as if I am a piggy bank. Now I am concerned that I will be sent to collection because I refuse to pay for their mistake.I called to get a prescription filled and the front desk lady told me that if I did not pay the bill, that I could no longer be seen. I asked if I could get more than just a month's worth of medicine because I need more time to find a good doctor, they refused and said by law they can only prescribe one month at a time.Please look into this. Thank you for your time.
