  Mr. ***************************** of We Can DO It PR LLC made an agreement to do work for me. To remodel my basement to include a 3 piece bathroom with medicine cabinet , with closets, lighting, outlets and laundry room I paid a down paid of $21,250, ******************** wanted more money to pull permits for plumbing, electrical , dumpster fee, and some licensing fees. I decline to pay and told him it should have been included in the initial agreement. ********************, then wanted to do the work without the permits which I declined. Then , he says the basement could not be done without more money. I asked ******************** several times repeatedly for the written detailed contract before ALL this occurred, which he never delivered so, there is NO written contract. I asked, ******************** to refund me my deposit of $21,250, he got close in my face and said, I understood from the start there is No refund, he was very intimidating and scared me ! I am afraid of this person and am seeking a refund of my deposit

  ******************** is a LIAR, a manipulator, and an all out dishonest person. I told ******************** in our very first interview person conversation that I could only afford a budget of $40,000, we then agreed to $43,500 and I explained that was over my budget and was more than what I could spend, which he acknowledges in his statement. He also lied and said I told him he could do my basement with out the acknowledgement of the management, I live in a Cooperative living community and they inspect each living unit annually and when a work order is submitted like for annual maintenance to the hot water tank, , furance, and air conditioner or other things that might need attention. So, there is no way they could not know that the basement starting out as a raw basement with just concrete walls and 2 lights, an outlet for the washer and dryer after remodeling then with drywall, canned lighting, closets, a laundry room, and a 3 piece bathroom how could they not know ! ******************** got upset when I declined. He then wanted me to pay for permits and the dumpster. I told him again, I could not come up with anymore money so he says he couldnt do the basement this is when I asked for my money back, ******************** got close in my face and said there is no refund, he was very intimidating and scary, at this point now Im afraid of him. After this, ******************** attitude and demeanor changed . There was never ever a conversation about no refund. I asked ******************** constantly and contiguously for a written detailed contract to which he answered ok he was bringing it, ( I have the texts) on several occasions but never produced. He says he told me he doesnt do contracts, he did not! Why would I constantly ask if he had ( I have the texts) and what
  to leave and I went out the door and talker to him, when I returned ******************** says they were talking about him, not me as he now states, he says they didnt know he understood what they said, they spoke Spanish. The other contractor came back and again I asked ******************** to leave, he finally did ! In our final text ******************** made the statement whenever we do this I will charge you more, I believe he will try as he has, he wants me to pay extra for permits, dumpster, demolish, $17,000 ft or labor, hes now asking for me to pay for the insurances he need if I was paying $43,500 for a full basement, with 3 piece bathroom, closets, lighting, poly flooring, new cabinets in the kitchen, sink, faucet, wall hood for stove, and new toilet, vanity, medicine for 2nd floor bath why would I do $31,000 for the kitchen and 2nd floor bath only I just want my money back nothing more nothing less, I DO NOT CARE TO DO BUSINESS with this person, hes not trustworthy, hes a liar, hes manipulator and Im afraid of him !

  *************** when you went to the police station and you lied saying that we stolen your money by *****, you have my account from my business and you went and deposited the amount for the deposit, now since the office management ask you for the permit I request more money you said no to give you the refund back and we have a witness when we. Other agree on the price. The Sgt from the police station reach me and he tell me that we both agreed to meet on the store and go with the options that you have and that you can find it on the conversation that we have by text , I text you to meet to confirm and you start responding with insults and calling the stores and talking bad about my business trying to suspend my account with them and my company reputation and insults on your end  directly with me sorry that you cant afford the price that o give to you after you change the scope of work after we agreed from the first time.   I am rejecting this response because: ******************* is a liar, he just wants to keep my money. Yes, I reported and filed a complaint with the police because he has a lot of my money$21,250. When I declined the things he wanted, 1. Me to pay for the dumpster $500 2. Pay his worker for removing the old cabinets 3. Let him do my basement without the Co Opts knowledge 4. Pay for licensees 5. Pay for permits. I had already told ******************** I had no more money I was over my budget and he still was asking for more .. when I decline these things,  is when he says he couldnt do the basement. This is when I asked for my money back, his persona changed he got demanding,  nasty, and intimidating  saying there is no refund this was very scary to me. I am a senior who went against my better judgement and trusted a gentleman I really didnt even know because I was desperate to get work done in my place. I moved in in the heart of the winter, sleeping on an air bed, no refrigerator, no chairs, boxes from partial storage,  house in total disarray, stuff  everywhere and I wanted to get organized and comfortable. Biggest mistake I have ever made in my life. He told me to secure him as my contractor I needed to  pay a deposit, I did stupidly with no contract because he was recommended., today I regret it painfully, Im nervous all the time, I  think about it ALL the time, I cant sleep most nights have to take something to sleep, just sick .. I just want to move on from this with my money back !
