The 2013 dodge charger had a leaking heater hose. I told them exactly what was wrong and asked for an oil change as well . Since the car belonged to my 18 year old son I had them call him giving him some say. The charges were for an oil change of $ 80 and to replace the hose n coolant. I figured 30 for the hose and 40 for the coolant and maybe 100 on the oil change Rister automotive charged a 46.39 environmental fee that is “built in” an oil change 80 and 1.5 hours to (drain coolant and replace 62.84 a hose 80.64) 448 in labor Their total was 705.61 Taking advantage of everyoneBusiness response

**** called me, ***** ******, on Wednesday, August 23 to arrange a tow for her sons charger stating it had an antifreeze leak somewhere and her son told her not to drive it. I told **** on the phone at that time the tow would be $125 and when we got it there we would diagnose the issue for $125. **** agreed and called me back later that day to tell me keys were in it and we could come tow the vehicle. We towed the vehicle in late and did not get to look at it until the next day, August 24. We filled the coolant and pressure checked the cooling system and we found the heater hose leaking and tried to call her with an estimate. When my son, *****, my service writer, called her she stopped him before telling her any prices and told him to call her son ****. ***** explained every aspect of the repair; the tow $125, diagnosis $125, hose repair $359.25 and oil change $69.53 adding up to $705.61. **** authorized all repairs and we proceeded with repairs. After repair on heater hose the vehicle was test drove and we called **** to inform him the vehicle was ready for pick up. He stated he was on his way home from work and asked if we could email a copy to him and he would call with credit card payment when he arrived home. Shortly thereafter we received a call from his mother Lisa. She told us we were trying to rip her son off because he has cerebral palsy? We had only talked to **** over the phone, we did not know his age or any medical conditions he may have! He was called with an exact estimate for all repairs and my invoice is for the correct amount. We have done nothing wrong. I’ve called **** since and we talked about the pricing and he stated he had no problem with the cost? If he did not want to proceed with repairs he could have declined repairs at the time of the call with the estimate. I’m not sure what **** is wanting? I tried to call her her numerous times also.
