    We paid JDM Sports a total of $6,900 to help place our son (16) on high level hockey teams. That total included 5 years. JDM found an out of state AAA team to place our son. Immediately, this team ended up being a horrible placement and this team only played our son 2 out of 14 games!! Hoping to resolve this issue, we worked with JDM to talk with the team. Not only was our JDM unhelpful, but our they only took the team's side. We wondered why our JDM was only seeming to defend the team rather than defend us. So, I asked him have you accepted any payback or kickback from the team when our son signed?. He was quiet and then answered, I cant disclose that information. We asked the owner if his employee ever accepted a payment or kickback and he ignored our question. Im sorry, but just like a realtor, if you are representing us as a client (buyer / seller), you are required to have full disclosure of who you are representing. If you represent both, you have to disclose that. In this case, JDM was certainly representing the best interest of the team and not our son. They seemed to care more about future kickbacks from this team. And for the final shock of all of this, after we pulled our son from the team we found out from the President of ************* Hockey that our son was never actually on the team roster and should have never played at all!! JDM Sports placed our child on a team, where he was never actually on the team. When we told the owner of JDM about this he completely minimized my concerns and emailed me Ive been doing this full time since 2006 no player playing hockey doesnt face tuff times this is not for everyone. Make your own opinions, but this comment sums up JDM for me! We have been with JDM for less than 1 year and have asked for a 100% refund of $6,900. They have refused to refund us any of our money.

    STAY AWAY FROM JDM Sports! They encouraged our 16 yr old son to join an academy stating how great this team would be for his exposure. Immediately, it was a horrible placement as they only played our son 2 out of 14 games! Most games our son was told to do team stats in the bleachers. Hoping to resolve this issue, we worked with our family advisor at JDM Sports to talk with the team. Not only was our family advisor *********, but he only took the team's side. We wondered why our family advisor was only seeming to defend the team rather than us. So, I asked him have you accepted any payback or kickback from the team when our son signed? For potential new clients, make sure to ask if they accept kickbacks from teams your child signs with. Also, we have heard good companies will only charge once a year. This way there is some accountability of earning your loyalty to the company. JDM makes you pay for 5 years!
