I called and hired Randy to rod out my toilet pipes. He was to do it the next day. He sent another man who we later found out is not licensed. He had to rent a rodder. The rodder left black marks across my carpet. He pulled my toilet, couldn't get it, replaced toilet without a new wax ring, water leaked into my finished basement. He borrowed a shovel from us to look into the septic tank. My daughter was home with him. His boss was on the phone. Told me ***** says there's a line broke 20ft down outside. I said 20ft down is still in my basement. Oh, he didn't know because he's not licensed he says. Uh what? His boss texted me he'd be back tomorrow to cut a pipe in the basement. I tell Randy I don't want him back alone, he's not licensed. 5 minutes later Randy says his boy ***** got the drain cleared and all is good, so I text my daughter to give them the payment. After he left my daughter calls and says it's never worked at all. He didn't fix it. Toilet is still clogged. I let Randy know, no answer. So the next morning, we see he left the septic lid partially off. Enough so one of my puppies could've fallen into it. We can't find the shovel. I text Randy. He says ***** admitted to him that he dropped the shovel in my septic tank. At this point, I tell them to come get the shovel and get the septic lid back on. They say they'll be there that evening. No show. Then the next morning. Again, no show. Won't respond to me or my daughter. So now I have black marks on my carpet, a leaky toilet into my basement, I need to hire a septic service to get the shovel out of the tank and they cashed my $300 check I told them I stopped payment on. They went to a currency exchange to cash it because it wouldn't have to clear there. Now the currency exchange is coming after me. I want what's right. My $300 back. They should be paying for everything else but I at least want my $300 back.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
*************************This doesn't even make sense. He told me he was sending his guy out. A guy that works for him, that he pays. He says he gave us money back? He did not but why would he even say this if we apparently didn't use him? I did not get a dime of my $300 back. I could *** him for damages. The leaky toilet seal. The company I had to pay to get the shovel out of the septic. I will be hiring a lawyer if he doesn't give me my $300 back. They did damage, lied and said it was fixed, took my money and never came back. This will not be settled until I get my $300 back. I will be posting everywhere I can until I get it back. You are as shady as they come Randy. I want my money back.Initial Complaint

We hired Randy to snake our pipes. He sent his assistant alone, who did not inform me he is not licensed. Randy had "more important jobs". The assistant, ***********************, first showed up and had to ask where to rent a rodder. He came back and I had to help him with it. He then oddly asked if i was single along with other personal questions. He snaked our drain and it did not change anything. He told me they would be back the following day together to cut a piece of our pipe and snake from there to finish the job, and made me write him a $300 dollar check and said he had already talked to his boss who had told my mom. He actually told his boss he fixed our toilet, who told my mom, I found out after. I noticed the following morning the lid to the septic tank was crooked when I stepped on it and it shifted and scared the daylights out if me. The tank was exposed with a gap large enough for our pups to fall in. I couldnt find the shovel ***** borrowed to move it, so my mom called Randy, who said ***** admitted to dropping our shovel in to the tank and not saying anything. He also told us ***** said the toilet was fixed. They ended up not coming back and ignoring our texts and calls, after Randy called to tell me ***** will NOT be fired or anything he did (I left out things I didn't think would matter to you but there was more) and ***** called to tell me he is not sorry and deny doing any wrong doing. They both tried to ask us to let them fix it and only charge is for parts.... They have been ignoring us since, because we told them no we just want our shovel out and lid fixed. We had to ask someone else to help move the lid, and will have to pay to have the shovel removed. Now they cashed the check my mom cancelled. She told them she wanted reimbursement and, at the very least, the shovel out and the septic lid back on properly. She now got a letter from a cash checking place that she may be fined for them cashing the cancelled check. The day he was here was January 28th.
