I have. a Rhema water heater. Called ***** for service. They had a 3rd part company listed in the complaint call mem Was rude from the start and was trying to tell me I need all kinds of things that we did not needBusiness response

Will you represent Rheem Manufacturing To facilitate a warranty service request. Rheem contracts us to go out and service their customers. We do not have anything to do with the warranty of the customers water heater. This specific customer was denied a warranty replace. By remanufacturing to issues on site that were not related to the water heater. While on site we verified the water heater was in good working order and took the route the manufacture requested and asked the homeowner to repair their plumbing issues as third-party subcontractors we can only do as advised by the manufacturer to facilitate their requirements to their customers. Changing the water heater would not have resolved the plumbing issue at the customers home and the customer was advised of this prior to us leaving their home. If they have any further issues, they should direct that at Rheem Manufacturing, and have those conversations with them as we are hired on their behalf to facilitate their warranty service. We do not make the final decisions. Those decisions come from Rheem Manufacturing.Initial Complaint

After purchasing a water heater from Lowes and ***** installing it Lowes said we had to call to get a company that handles *************** warranties to service it. The water heater did not work. I apparently had a wire pop out after changing a 25 amp to a 30 amp. I changed the breaker. I didnt know the water heater was not getting power. Here is the problem. ** Water Heating solutions was to first call and do trouble shooting over the phone. Next the would send out a technician. They did not do trouble shooting over the phone at all. The sent out the tech who was here maybe 10 to 11 minutes. The issue is not underwarranty. I understand that and take responsibility for my part but not to attempt to do trouble shooting over the phone and charging $300 for 10 to 11 minutes means that 300 can 6 (10 minutes) per call is $1,800 per hour. They already took 300 out of my bank account. I requested they contact me. I h have mot received a call back from them. I am willing to split the cost of $150 but not $300, paying $300 is like robbing an unarmed man. I would like to settle this by them putting $150 back on my account. Thank you! The technician came out Friday March ******************************************************************* the hot water tank. I called several times and were told to email them with photos . I have not heard anything from them regarding the damaged hot water tank.
