Today, I called the business to schedule a dental appointment. I've never been to this location but found it because their information was listed on my Dental insurance's website as an in-network provider. I called. The first staff member said she had to check her system to see if they accepted my insurance. I was on hold for a few minutes, then another lady came to the phone. I told her I was calling to schedule a dentist appointment. She said "so you have questions about insurance?" I said, "no. This business was listed as an in network provider. The other lady said she had to see if you all accept it, but I found you all on their website as an in-network provider. But do you accept it?" She kept asking for the name of the insurance provider, and I repeatedly told her each name that's on my insurance cards. Whatever name I said, she kept saying "I've never heard of that company."Then, she asked me question after question. After several questions, I asked if she was scheduling my appointment or verifying my insurance. She responded with "you're being very rude. I'm trying to verify your insurance and I need your information, but you're being very rude..." I asked her how am I being rude by simply asking her questions, especially since she said she never heard of my insurance before, (but this dentist is listed as an in-network provider.)She never told me how I was being rude for simply asking questions to help try and schedule my appointment. She kept saying I was being rude. I told her that she was being very unprofessional and I'd like to speak with HER manager. I asked her for her name (she said *****). I asked what's her position with the company. She claimed to be the manager. I asked to speak with HER manager. She said "I don't have to do this with you. You're not even a patient. Take care." Then she RUDELY hung up in my face. This is very unprofessional and I've never been treated like this in my life by a referred Dental Office. Very unprofessional.Business response
