I hired Airmax heating and cooling to replace my ac unit in the summer of 2022. ************************* was the technician who performed the services. On sunday 10/9/22 I tried to turn on my furnace for the fall/winter months and noticed that it would not turn on. after going down to the basement i noticed there was a very small puddle of water that was almost dried up. i opened the door for the furnace to see what was going on inside and noticed more water along with it being rusted fully. After looking around i noticed that a pvc pipe that was supposed to be connected to the newly installed ac unit was never connected, so all summer long the unit had been leaking into the furnace and now will not work. The unit worked just fine last year. The unit is fully rusted inside and the door is rusted as well. I called Airmax and ****** was sent back out to see what he can do and he admitted and stated that he "screwed up" when he installed and doesnt know why he never connected the pvc back to the ac unit itself. ****** did say he would return the next day to fix the issue as he did not have the materials to fix it at that time. After multiple attempts to reach ****** for a date and time since he missed the appt he has not returned any phone calls or text messages. As i stated the unit worked fine and is not working anymore, i would like to have ****** pay for the replace of a new unit. i have attached a few photos of the furnace and the damanges caused by airmax and *************************.
