We purchased a Bosch 800 series dishwasher from ****** on 6/23/24, which cost close to $1800 because we added a 5-year protection plan. I could not get ****** to install it until 7/2/24. On 7/5/24, AFTER JUST THREE DAYS OF NORMAL USE, it could not even be powered on. ****** refused to return/exchange any defective product more than 48 hours after delivery. So we were forced to deal with the product warranty. We had a Bosch certified technician came to look at it, for which we had to wait until 7/10/24. The technician determined that this is a DEFECTIVE product. He tried to replace the circuit board, which had to be shipped and could not arrive until 7/15/24. He came to install it on 7/16, but the dishwasher still could not be powered on. The technician spent 45 minutes on the phone with someone from Bosch and ***** insists another parts needs to be replaced first, which is a special part and NO ETA CAN BE PROVIDED. During this whole process, ****** and ***** each made us call the other party, and we spent HOURS being kicked around by them like cans. ***** REFUSED to commit to a date by which they must replace this defective brand new dishwasher if they cannot make it functional again. We are extremely stressed and are very concerned that we are heading into a perpetual ping-pong sequence of waiting for a technician, and then ordering parts, waiting for the parts to arrive, and then waiting for the technician to come try it out, which can go ON AND ON for weeks or months.****** SAYS THEY CANNOT RETURN/EXCHANGE IT UNLESS ***** GIVES AN AUTHORIZATION. Every single Bosch agent we were able to communicate with via phone/ email would only present scripted response and NO ONE would be willing to respect us as consumers.We believe NO ONE SHOULD BE ROBBED OF $1800 AND BE TREATED WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT LIKE THIS. A company and a person has nothing much left besides reputation, and they are doing everything possible to ruin it.Initial Complaint

I purchased a very high end Bosch Dishwasher less than three years ago and have been quite pleased with the performance, sound levels and features. The door mechanism is not working properly and the appliance repair company has told me that the base of the dishwasher and hinge mechanism is made of plastic (not metal) and needs repair or replacement. I have spent hours and hours trying to reach a representative on the phone to help with repair/replacement. I have set up an email thread with the customer support people finally and have asked for a call back from a supervisor, someone who can actually answer questions and help. Not one person has called me back. I have filed a complaint with the ********** of ******** Affairs at the State of ********* and hope to get a return call. I need advice to answer several questions.When you spend **** on a dishwasher you first expect it to operate under normal circumstances more than 2 and a half years, and someone to return your phone call when trying to resolve a problem.
