This company installed brand new siding. It is already warped and buckling after only 3 years. I called to have it repaired. No responseBusiness response

: All contractor and material warranties need to be addressed with your Property Manager. If a request or inquiry regarding the warped siding was made to your property manager, it never reached Hammerbrush Construction for a resolution. There is no work order generated from the management company.

Hammerbrush ruined my screens while doing work on the outside. I have made several complaints. Nothing happens. They say to call our property manager. I call. No response. Why can't they just fix themBusiness response

: Hammerbrush cannot be held responsible for homeowners not being able to contact their property managers. We are sorry for the inconvenience however we cannot fix items we have not been told to fix. There is no work order generated from the management company.

Hammerbrush replaced the siding on ***********. We were told to expect a few nail pops. The damage done by this company is unbelievable. My roof is covered with exposed nails from the scaffolding. My wall is covered with nail pops and ************ coming all the way through.Business response

: The project manager that was hired (Not Hammerbrush construction) sent out a notice to the community that they would experience nail pops. Additionally, meetings were held with board members, homeowners, and property management to discuss this issue and how to handle any issues.

Hammerbrush was contracted to upgrade the siding. During the project, my balcony rails were removed. When replaced, they put them on backwards. I made a complaint and they did not *************, the rails are bowed and require complete replacement.Business response

The railings in question were not removed, replaced, or altered in any way by Hammerbrush Construction. We suggest you reach out to your property management company and let them know of the issue. Hammerbrush Construction cannot be held responsible for work performed by other companies and we are unable to address any work orders that have not been assigned to us.

These are horrible companies. Hammerbrush and G3 construction did work in our community. It was a massive project. Nearly every home has been damaged and requires extensive repairs. They nailed scaffolding directly into my roof. Nails are everywhere. The soffits were never opened so our roof does not vent. Mold is rampant. They covered ******************* with ****. My doorbells has been covered. They destroyed my window well cover and put a random piece of plywood over it. ***** Captain promised all would be corrected. Nothing happened. It is a total messBusiness response

The scope of work was such that the soffits in place were not to be removed or replaced but to be covered by new soffits. If any homeowners have any concerns with the scope of work that was approved, please contact your property manager and discuss the approved plans with your engineers and designers.
We apologize for any damage you may see but Hammerbrush cannot be held responsible for your property manager and project manager not relaying any work orders to us. Hammerbrush has responded to work orders from Orchard Gate within 72 hours of receiving them and have closed out several work orders. We cannot be held responsible for work orders never given to us by either your property manager or project manager.
***** Captain has never been or an employee of Hammerbrush.

Between 2018-2022, Hammerbrush, ******************************** and G3 construction was contracted for a siding upgrade in our community. They wrecked havoc throughout the entire complex. While installing the siding my windows were nailed shut for 6 months. The siding was thrown on the building and left huge gaps for mice to enter. The flashings on ************ were compromised and they nailed scaffolding directly into the roof. My roof warranty has been voided and my 6 year old roof has decayed. First Service Residential is our management company. All of this businesses are affiliated. HUGE CONFLICT OF INTEREST! Residents have been complaining for years and getting nowhere.Business response

Hammerbrush has responded to all work orders sent to us in regard to this project; work orders that have not been given to us are not our responsibility and we cannot be held responsible for a property owner not getting a response from their property manager.
Hammerbrush is affiliated with the other companies by being hired by the Project Manager, who was hired by the property manager.
Due to the existing conditions of the windows being installed without flashing or outside casing, the nails used to replace the siding went through the windows and prevented them from opening. Hammerbrush removed and replaced every window that was damaged despite not being informed the windows in question were originally installed incorrectly.
Scaffolding was not installed by Hammerbrush Construction. However, Hammerbrush did install pump jacks that resulted in having to place nails in the roof, as discussed in the original plans, scope of work, and pre-construction meetings. ********* that were left in place by Hammerbrush Construction were removed. If additional nails remained from other companies scaffolding, Hammerbrush Construction cannot be responsible for their work.
