I traded vehicles 8/19 with ********. ******** mailed a check with tracking 9/13 and check was received 9/15 at West Lake Financial. I called and they did not have it, the dealer called and check was still not located. West lake is harassing with collection calls over a check they lost and never posted to my account and refuse to remove the **** from the credit reporting agencies. The check was received and never posted to my loan account. A new check has been issued overnight tracking and signed for and payment still not posted. West lake received payoff in under 30 days past payment and never posted payoff. They need to remove lat **** from credit agencys and apply payment to loan account reflecting a 0 balance.Initial Complaint

Hi Im complaining about some interest payment they charge and they change the date of when I paid the money for my principal balance and they charge me interest when they know they cant so they are stilling money from me please help me with this thank youInitial Complaint

I leased a vehicle through west lake financial some time ago & also purchased gap coverage my vehicle was totaled and damages not covered by insurance the gap coverage did not help or fix anything neither did the update the balance in which payments where made this affects my credit majorly and the ability to finance another vehicleInitial Complaint

We called at the beginning of this month to get an extension when our payment became due and we know we could not pay it. We had a financial crisis. We have 3 small children and the motor blower in my car went out. We were told this is a valid reason for an extension but the account must be 15 days past due to request and extension. We missed a call from them on a Saturday so I called back (I am authorized on the account but not a signer) and I was told I was only authorized for a day. I was laughed at by the agent and then hung up on when I asked to speak to a manager. I called back, the second agent got me a manager and the manager was horrible. The manager laughed also at me and told me that my feelings were not justified and when I asked for a different manager she said she could give me an email and I could request a call back but she was the only manager and there was no one else I could speak to. When I told her this was not acceptable she hung up on me as well. I called back, I requested an extension-this time I was told I had to pay $50 in order to get an extension-I was also told it was for an *** fee and a late fee which at this point I advised I would NOT be paying and I felt it should be waived due to my mistreatment, I was told MAYBE the *** but their ONLY MANAGER would have to approve it and the late fee will not be waived even though the initial agent never told me I would be assessed one when processing the extension. The agent also did not tell me I would have to pay $50 to request an extension. I said that was absurd considering Im calling telling them I could not pay in the first place but I was told too bad. I called back. The next agent assumed my husbands gender which is totally illegal when he called. He was also placed on hold. He was told that he needed to pay the $50 also and that it was a good faith payment he was also told that if he paid it he would be granted the extension within 24 hours. We were told to call back.
