To whom it may concern:I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the handling of my recent warranty claim for the DeWalt DXF-1840 Industrial Fan, which I purchased through Amazon for $116.57. The fan, which came with a promise of a 5-year warranty, stopped working after just two years.I initially contacted ****** and spoke with *********************, who, after providing a detailed account of my purchase and timeline, directed me to Alton ****************** I had to repeat my story and submit the same information multiple times, which was a clear waste of my time and energy. Despite my efforts, I was sent a replacement fan that arrived in unacceptable condition: it had a large dent, loose and stripped screws, and was delivered in a damaged box. To make matters worse, my subsequent attempts to follow up via email were met with confusion and a lack of understanding of my case. The situation was further exacerbated when I was redirected multiple times between Alton, DeWalt representatives, with each party passing the responsibility to another. This back-and-forth has not only been incredibly frustrating but also unproductive.Given the severity of the heat this summer and the pressing need for a functional fan, I have since purchased a new fan(The Newer model DeWalt DXF - 1840) Which doesnt seem to be having any issues, not even rattling like the first fan out of necessity and why I now would like refund in Lieu of. The handling of this warranty claim has been inefficient and has demonstrated a serious lack of coordination and competence on the part of DeWalt's customer support. 1 picture is the proof of purchase.1 picture is of the original number.2 picture of the newest DaWatl DXF - 1840 Purchased form Amazon All I received was original request number from **** from Dewalt provided (10187978).1Z850A77YW01817728 Shipping carrier is ***** Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to a swift resolution.

My husband received a Husky 4.5 Gallon Silent Air Compressor as a Christmas gift in December 2021. We know that the air compressor was purchased at a ********** Store. I contacted ********** by phone yesterday, 05/22/2023 to inquire on how to get the air compressor exchanged in the store and was told that I had to contact the manufacture of the product which is Alton Industry. I contacted Alton Industry and left a voicemail and also sent them an email about the air compressor not working correctly. It makes a humming sound when plugged in and will not build up pressure in the tanks. I received an email response back from **************** with ********************** Industry and was told the air compressor is out of warranty in August 2021 and would need to buy replacement parts. How is that possible to be out of warranty if it wasn't purchased and received as a gift until December 2021? We are just seeking an exchange of the item at our local **********. The warranty should start at the time of purchase which was December 2021 and the item carries a 3 year warranty so by my math the warranty would be good until December ****. I have attached a copy of the Husky Air Compressor Warranty which shows it is a 3 year warranty and an image I pulled right off of the ********** website that explains to bring it in an they will exchange the item if it ever fails. This has never been an issue in the past with items purchased from **********, They normally will do an exchange as long as they have the same item in stock. Please help me in getting this item exchanged.

In less than 60 days the power head smoked/burned out. ****** would not honor the Craftsman 3 year warranty and referred me to Craftsman who refused to take ownership of the problem and then referred me to Alton Industries, the company that makes the vacuum for Craftsman. This happened back in Jun of 2021. It has been almost 1 year and still no resolution. It is not about the money. It is about the principal of the the thing. I purchased a 20 gallon Stealth air compressor from Tractor Supply model #SAQ-12018 from Tractor Supply in ***********, ** on 02/05/2022. I paid $322.49 I little over a month and a half later it would turn on an made a "humming" noise. I took it to ******************* on March 24th and ask him to determine the problem. On March 30th, I called and he advised it was a bad motor. Since I have a factor warranty, I called the company Alton Industries and talked to *****. First, he tried to say it was a bad capacitor until I advised him that ******************* stated it was a bad motor. He said that he was shipping out a replacement motor that day and it would arrive in ***** days. I called today inquiring for a tracking number and he acknowledged that he was to ship a motor and a pressure switch but he would have someone look for the tracking number and call me back. I never received a return call. When I tried to call later that day, it ween to voicemail. I've have my compressor at the shop for almost two weeks and I need the replacement motor.
