on 02/23/2023 I bid on two lots Webster Auction had on the online auction forum called ********. Webster had this auction titled Hannibal MO Large Estate. I was bidder paddle number ****. I bid on lot #44-Large quality of figurines & Glass ware winning bid $45.00 plus 18% buyers premium $8.10 total $53.10 also I bid on lot #45 Large quantity of figurines & glassware $30.00 plus 18% buyers premium $5.40 total $35.40. Plus I paid a convenience fee $4.43. on 03/15/2023 they charged debit card $437.92 shipping cost and shipped 8 boxes consisting of the two above noted lots. The boxes arrived to me and 90% of the items were damaged, broken in several pieces due to faulty packing in my opinion. I called Webster Auction several times, they did not reply. I called ********, they said I had to work with the seller. *** send me an email asking if I had problems with the shipments. I replied I had and filed the 8 serpent damage claims for the 8 shipped boxes. *** processed the claims and forwarded to Webster Auction, but I was advised today that Webster had not responded to them, I had to contact the seller, which I have once again, but to this far they do not reply, why I am seeking assistance from the BBB. 153 broken items and no reply is fraud in my opinion. I hope you can help resolve these issues. I can provide pictures of the received boxes, and pictures of the broken items upon request. In addition, I cut my hand and arms on this broken mess when I was trying to unpack them. I advised Webster Auction of that, it appears they do not care. I have attached pictures of the 8 *** claim numbers and a few picture of some of the broken items. I have 211 pictures if you need them of the boxes, damaged items etc. *** informed me they forwarded everything to Webster Auction, but they have not replied to the either.
