Your lied to by multiple staff members. The secretary in the office hung up on me intentionally nor was I given the name of the secretary, they do not go by their time frame. They do not file the form for the military flag and I had to do that myself. Also, the day the your love one passes you ask if you get updates they say "Absolutely Not". When you do call for updates they do not know what is going on. You get what you pay for.

On December 29, 2023, at approximately 8:31 a.m., ******************** contacted Serenity to take her loved one into our care. The answering service informed her that the Administrative Assistant would call her the same day before noon to schedule an appointment to meet with a Funeral Director.However, at approximately 10:00 a.m., ******************** and her family showed up at our office without a scheduled appointment. While our policy is by appointment only, we accommodated and met with them on the same day.During the arrangement, the Funeral Director explained the processes and the timeframes involved. ******************** and her family called daily to obtain an update. Unfortunately, in observance of the holiday, the business office was closed from December 30, 2023 January 1, ****, and reopened for business on January 2, ****. So, the answering service was unable to provide any new updates.Serenity makes it a priority to keep families updated on the status of their loved ones and provide support during their grief. ******************** and her family repeatedly called our office and demanded updates. However, they also used disrespectful and profane language with our staff. While we understand that families may be grieving, we do not tolerate disrespect towards our staff. As a result, we reserve the right to terminate the call if such behavior occurs.Lastly, we have extensive experience serving families of veterans and are knowledgeable in providing the necessary assistance to obtain a flag. It is our duty to recognize veterans who served honorably in the Armed Forces. Unfortunately, ******************** didnt allow us the opportunity.
