This agreement was regarding the rental vacation home known as the ******************, managed by Heath INS Properties LLC, to be used as a wedding venue with a ceremony area in their ***** as advertised on their website. The number of guests, the locations for the ceremony areas as well as a tour of the vacation home were communicated before we signed the contract. During this tour we deided the ceremony and reception area was perfect and all was satisfactory. Therefore, we proceeded and the first of three transactions was on July 29, 2022 for $4k out of the total $12,869 due by July 30, 2023. Before we paid our last transaction due in July, we were granted another tour of the venue in April to do the final planning and gathering of measurements for our rentals and to figure out seating for the ceremony and reception areas so all guests would be properly accomodated and setup would be planned ahead of time. In July we made our final payment and were all set with the venue. Unfortunately, 1 day before our stay, we received an email from Heath INS Properties LLC with an update that the ceremony area we intended to use was no longer their property. They provided alternative areas on the site but none of which could accommodate the agreed upon number of guests we had arriving in 4 days and also they were not the ceremony area that we paid the $12,869 to use. The fact that the ceremony area was sold and only communicated to us 4 days before our event and after our last payment was provided, was deceptive and gave us no time to make adjustments to the wedding ceremony area we planned at this venue for the last 14 months. We ended up having to spend 2 whole days of our $2k/night stay to try and make 1 of the 4 ceremony areas work only to need to make a 5th ceremony area just off the parking lot to seat all our guests. It was a huge disappointment. We requested the owner reimburse these 2 nights but they have not entertained any reimbursement or replied to my follow up.
