      I have hired Euro-Tech to install new windows. Firstly they have installed incorrect ***********. We ordered Matte Bronze but installed Matte black. Secondly, windows were not sealed properly. The installation job performed poorly. There is gap on the sides that leaking breeze. My little kids were suffering from cold this winter and gas bills went higher. I was told that bill going to be 30% lesser after new windows installed. I have order form and contracts paperwork as evidence. We called the company and service tech found evidence of gap that produces air. I have called many times and asked for a resolution. They are not cooperative, moreover their response is very rude. I need BBB support and help to resolve this issue.

      We have explained several times that you are responsible for staining or painting your interior trim. This is a service we DO NOT provide and it is on both your contracts and work orders. This is where your air infiltration is at and has nothing to do with the window itself. We have explained this to you and the person you have calling the office on your behalf. We were told that you understood what needs to be done yet you reach out to the BBB as if it was not explained to your already. We are not trying to be rude in anyway but there is only so many times we can explain the situation over and over again without showing some signs of frustration. We install windows only, we do not paint or stain anything. The windows that were installed in your home work perfectly and have no air coming in around them.

      We are  concerned  about the installation of windows and the color of locks.


      Installation of windows: Windows are installed poorly. The inspector came from Euro-Tech to inspect and he found that 
         * the sides among sloppers were not treated properly
         * there are  gaps, loose areas, not nailed
         * Did Breeze test and result came positive (Breeze)
      I do not agree that paint or staining of interior trim will stop leaking drafts. 


      Color of locks: We ordered matte bronze but they installed matte black. When they installed the windows we asked them about color. We were told that locks would be changed but nothing happened yet.

      As previously explained on the phone with the service department the color of locks that you chose was the color that you received. The samples of the locks were shown to you the day of the sale of the windows and you seen first hand how the locks were going to look. That is exactly what was provided to you with your windows. We offered to change the color for you if you wanted something different but the color or finish that you want is not something that we offer. As for the installation of the window we did exactly what we were supposed to. You are responsible for the sealing or staining of the interior wood per your work orders and contracts.

      I purchased new windows to be installed in my home by Euro-Tech on 01/20/2022 for $10,000. I live in ********* and we experience all of the seasons, especially winter. The new windows that have been installed are becoming terrible addition and decision. The windows have some sort of defect or they have been installed improperly leading to water settling inside of the home as well as a constant draft. After any sort condensation the windows also become almost impossible to see out of. The consistent condensation will only lead to a mold/mildew build up which is very dangerous health wise. I have contacted the business and they are aware of the situation and they have contacted the manufacturer of the windows. The manufacturer stated that the product does not have a defect and Euro-Tech stated that based off of the photos I have provided to them, it does not support my claim of any error. Euro-Tech has also changed my payment amount with any notification, back charged my card for months already paid, and has accused me just tying to avoid payments because Im having financial problems. I have made all payments since installation on time and have no problem doing so. The company has not even offered to return for an inspection of the installation. This is a very expensive and disappointing experience as a customer.

      Your first complaint is when there is condensation inside the home you cannot see out of the window. We explained to open the window to allow the moisture to escape. Your second complaint was when it rains you cannot see outside the window. We explained the screens do not protect the window from getting wet. You have resulted to calling the employees names when we cannot grasp the reasons for your complaints since this is something that homeowners experience all the time. The windows are not defective. We also do not take any payments from you. You financed the project with a finance company. We have no control over your payments since it is not with our company nor do we see any of them. You will need to speak with your finance company regarding this complaints.

      You never asked for us to look at the windows. You simply stated what was happening with the windows and assessed them yourself. Condensation build up on the inside of the home is something you would need to fix. Lowering the humidity in the home and allowing air to circulate is something you will need to do as a homeowner. As far as the rain build up on the outside of the window. What would you like ** to do? We cannot stop it raining over your house. Having awnings built is always an option. There is also coatings you can put on the exterior of the glass that will help the rain slide off. The will not however fix the screens getting wet.

      I am rejecting this response because: I never stated I asked you to look at the windows, I said you never tried to. I contacted you about the windows several times and I was even told that the windows that were installed in my home sat on a boat for over a year. If this is a professionally ran company that has completed a job that the customer is displaying a constant concern why would you not try to see the problem for yourself? Youre saying I assessed it myself but I do not install windows that is what you get paid to do. If I knew the fix I wouldn't sit in my house with a constant breeze and potential mold build up. The way you have chose to handle this situation and continues to handle it is only showing a lack of professionalism and care.

      I purchased some wonders almost a year ago first they wouldnt work my front living room window has a crack in it and hes taking them almost a year to resolve the cracked window in my front living room,they came out 3 times with the wrong size and when I complain to customer service I was told by the manager its nothing that they could do.Feeling angry and frustrated,because everytime I pull up to my house I have to look at this cracked window that cost me a lot of my hard earn money.I held up my part of the deal so they should honor their part of the deal

      We understand the frustration of waiting for parts to come from the manufacturer. We would love to just rush to your home with exactly what you need but this is a warranty claim and we do not manufacturer the windows so we are at the mercy of the manufacturer. What you did not mention in your complaint is that we replaced 12 sashs in your home since the installation. On the last 2 service calls you were so hostile to our technician that you were asked to stop or he would leave the home. You proceeded to scream and curse at the very person that was there to help you and then finally he left because you became hostile. I would love to say that this was in the heat of the moment and it was just because you were frustrated but in fact you have called the office before and cursed and screamed at the office staff. There should never be any reason to speak to people the way you have. Most people would be put on social media for this type of behavior but instead you have decided to continue your assault with going to the BBB. As I stated on the phone I will replace your sashs under a warranty claim but if you continue to be hostile to the employees of this company you will need to deal with the manufacturer directly and find another technician to preform the labor for you. Euro Tech *** will continue to protect  the mental health and physical safety of its employees. We hope that this can be handled civilly.

      I am rejecting this response because:I only became upset when I ask the question when the windows come to your company you dont measure the window before you send them out to the customer so you can make sure theyre the right size and I was told no,and its nothing we can do about it, then my response was I didnt purchase my windows from the manufacture I purchased them from your company so therefore its your responsibility to make sure when those windows come in that they are the right size before sent out to the customer that would illuminate any problems that possibly will occur and this wasnt the first time this is the third time,so I should happy that I spent over $8000 and not get what I was promise.No I will not be satisfy until my living room window is repaired every day I have to look at this crack in my window when I come home,its not the back window its the window you see when you drive up to my house.

      If you are asking if we check the size of the windows to see if it will properly fit in your window that is impossible to do without having your windows to put them in. The bottom sash of your window is going to be a different size then the top. This is not something we will know when it arrives to us during the delivery. Also your window sash's arrive covered in cardboard and plastic with your information on them. They will need to be unwrapped in order to get an accurate reading on the size sent, which again will not help us know if it will fit. If we remove the protective covers  over the sash's it will likely be scratched, scuffed or become dirty while waiting in a warehouse with hundreds of other sash's to be installed and will no longer have your information so it could  be lost. We rely on the manufacturer to be able to make the replacement windows under a warranty claim based off of the sticker information they provide on the windows. If any of these questions you have brought up were asked while our technician was there we would have gladly explained this to you. Again, we will replace the window under a warranty claim with the manufacturer but we expect for civility and respect when we have an employee in your home. Any hostility displayed will result in the technician leaving the home.

      I had Eurotech install new windows for my home and they had installed them last February 2022. But one panel was broken upon installation and they promised to replace the broken panel. It has been months since and no resolution to the problem is done. I have been contacting the salesman but all I get is that the panel is still being made. I want a definite date of completion from the company.

      We had the service scheduled for the 5/12 but you stated you were stuck out of the country with covid so we had to cancel the installation of the windows until you were able to be back in the country. When putting the window back in the warehouse to wait for your availability the window got cracked and needed to be reordered. As you know the window replacement takes about 10 weeks for it to arrive from the manufacturer which is why we were really trying to have someone at the house on 5/12 to have this installed for you. It has only been 3 weeks in production and we still do not have the replacement in yet. We cannot give you a definite date of completion until the window arrives from the manufacturer for installation. You could have simply called the office to find out this information instead of filing a BBB complaint.

      Late July, 2021, Euro-Tech installed new roof, new gutters, as well as soffit(s) and fascia. We paid/financed $43;,000+. I have to confess I find them having a good rating w/BBB a real surprise.Shortly after the install, early August, we had a pretty good rain, and noticed the sounds of a drip, drip above one of our bedrooms, appearing to come from the chimney area. I called them and they said, "It's your chimney." Nothing about the fact that they didn't provide any flashing around the chimney when they installed the roofing. We haven't had any meaningful showers since, so we have not had a repeat - yet.The other complaint is they installed new soffit above our front porch. To do so, they removed the plywood roof for the area, and now there is a lack of sealing and insulation, so the bedroom area above the porch is cold in winter, and warm in summer, which permeates the area - - one can feel the heat as one climbs the stairs to the 2nd floor. In the winter, we need a supplemental space heater for my wife to work in that room.One of their C/S people contacted me, I think in late November, to ask how everything was doing . I gave her an ear full, but no call back. I have spoken w/****, and ********* (one of their workers/installers, fix-it people). I contacted them on the following dates:8/10/21 (roof leak), as well as: 10/25, 11/1, 11/5, 11/6, 11/8, 11/9 during which I said, "Get on it!", and lastly 11/10/2021.

      As we have stated to you before your chimney is a metal chimney and does not get metal flashing like a brick chimney would. We went to your home and explained that the flue cap on your chimney is what is allowing water to enter your home and needs to be replaced. We took photos and the installer even added caulk around the edges of your chimney for peace of mind. We did not sell you a flue cap nor do we provide that to you during your shingle replacement. Your soffit or porch ceiling consists of the installer covering over exposed wood with aluminum panels. There was no removal or replacement of wood in that area. Your porch is offset from the bedroom above and does not connect with the walls in anyway. I never received any phone calls or complaints about this from either phone calls, service request forms on our website, emails or text message so I will address it here for all to see. With your particular roof due to the addition on the upper half you will have air flow from the soffits that run the perimeter of the first floor. This has nothing to do with the installation of any of the products we provided to you. Since vented soffit is required there for the roof above to not fail due to lack of ventilation there is nothing that we can do to remedy this problem for you. As always we are here to provide you with any assistance if there is anything that we did wrong during your installation but we do not change the design of the house or provide products or services that we do not provide a written contract for.  If you need to discuss this further please send any concerns to ********************************** so that everything will be in a written format for future reference.

      I have been having issues with *************, fulfilling their promises of great windows and doors with the lifetime warrenty. We bought our windows and doors in Mid 2020, and we have had nothing but issues with them. It took many complaints from Oct 2020 and on to have them finally replace the 3 windows that were bad (poor manufacuting), and still waiting on them to come replace the door as it does not even shut correctly. *** is the person who keeps telling us it is a problem with humidity, but once they finally replaced the windows I did not have any issues with ice build-up inside the windows. Still having issues with the door. The door has a manufacuring issue and it was not installed correctly. I have had several other people out here and they all say the same thing. I even sent them written issues from another company about their poor door manufacturing and installation since you can see outside on both sides of the door, when closed and locked.they just keep giving me the runaround and it sounds like they do this to everyone, and do not do what they say they are going to do. This is a horrible company and it is 2022 and I am still trying to get them to fix the issue.Please if they people call you, DO NOT USE THEM as they LIE and TAKE your MONEY and run and put in cheap windows and doors that do not hold out the cold or ice.I want this fixed! I even called the owner, but of course still no resolve.Please help us get our homes and stuff they did on everyone's homes fixed. I want a FREE replacement Door and a professional installation including any rotten wood due to poor work and length of time to fix it.

      This customer continues to harass our employees with her fowl language and threats. She sent in what she calls an "environmental report" which is really just a estimate from another company for insulation around many issues she has in her home. She sent in photos of the door with a temperature reading of 44 degrees on the interior opening of the door when it was *********************************************************** the door. This means that the door is doing exactly what was advertised to do. We have not been in business for over 30 years because we cheat customers on products. We have gone to her home at least 7  times for 2 different manufactures and did a thorough investigation into her claims and have came back each time with she has a large amount of humidity in her home and she needs to fix that issue. Her harassment and slander knows no bounds. She no longer has any labor warranties since the installation happened 3 years ago and it was explained on several occasions that if she wants a technician back to her home there will be a service charge. She refused and resorts to online bullying to try and get things for free. Her window replacements were in March of 2021 and we due to seal failure, not because there was frost build up on them. She had the technician at her home and not one mention of the door issues she claims has been going on for years. In December she claimed she could not open and close the door correctly and it has gone down hill since. Her main goal is to get a new free door or she wants all her money back.  I have several emails to prove everything I am saying including reports from all technicians that went to her home and letters sent to her from her manufacturers after their inspections. If this harassment continues we will be forced to take appropriate action.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I have pictures and information on a feedback stating their is an issue with the front door and was not installed properly or issues with the manufacturing.
      There is no harassment on my side, I just want them to stand behind their products they sold me and fix the issues that are happening due to their installation and manufacturing.  If they would just do what they say they will do then people would not have to come on here and complain about them.

      I just want this fixed as I am tired of heating up the outside during winter, and wind blowing in as you can see from the pictures the opening on both sides of the door.
      It is really sad that another company can come in (that does not sell doors or windows) and tell me that I got ripped off on the door, that it is not installed correctly and that Eurotech should come and replace it or fix it properly.  I told him they refuse to come fix it and tell me that it is because we have high humidity, and he checked, and the old us we do not have high humidity, which means Euro Tech should come fix the issues with the door.

      We just want this fixed.

      August 17. 2021 ************************* from Euro-Tech Windows came to my home to show me a sample window. He described installation & that the old frames would be covered by aluminum. I said I wanted the old frames removed & the new windows bolted to the studs. I said if it can't be done - we can't do business. He said it would be done & that the windows are warrantied for life being transferrable once to a new owner. Based on that info I gave him a $933.00 deposit, ordering eight windows for $7933.00. **** wrote up the contract right there BUT, unknown to me, leaving the old frames in place - contrary to what we had agreed upon. A man came later & measured for the windows. In November the ******************** arrived. I was present and asked what they were doing. They were removing the windows but leaving the old frame. ************************* lied to me. I told them to stop. I called Euro-Tech & said, "Take your windows back." The man I talked to said it would be done as promised & to advise the installers to remove the old frames. Later when I inspected the job I saw the windows are all 2 inches too small & where the trim ends there's a 1 inch wide area all around showing 60 years of paint buildup. 1 window has no trim at all. Shoddy work and I still had not received the Warranty paperwork. I called Euro-Tech. The woman I spoke with said she would get the warranty document out to me asap. Nothing. Last week I left a message at Euro-Tech threatening to contact the media. Still nothing.I had hired a realtor to sell that property, but we waited until the windows were installed to include "Life-Time Warranty Transferrable" in the contract. I will be in breach of contract with the buyer if I can't prove that with a document. I am 66 years old on social security. That property is my retirement fund. I was scammed by Euro-Tech who took advantage of a vulnerable elderly person. I need that WRITTEN warranty before I have another stroke! The job's not done until the paperwork's done!

      We would never do anything like you are suggesting. Your use of words tells me that this review was written by someone with malicious intent towards our company. A copy of the warranty is always sent to the home following installation and payment. I will send another copy to the name on this review but whoever wrote this should be ashamed for the slander in this complaint.

      Euro-Tech was to give me an estimate on replacement windows for my house. After they took a week to call to set up the appointment, had me down for siding instead of windows, had the wrong appointment *********** and then tried to confirm the wrong time after rescheduling, I told them I was no longer interested. Since then they have been calling repeatedly, every day. Yesterday they called 5 times. I again told them I was not interested in doing business with their firm, as they were so disorganized and unprofessional, and to stop calling me. Just received another phone call today. If this is how they conduct their business, I am surprised they are even still in business. Five calls in one day seems rather like harassment to me.

      Windows /doors installed about ****, company provides lifetime warranty. First time contacting them regarding loss of seal in door /window was November 2020. Finally in July 2021 window replaced company sent wrong door. No follow up from company, I finally get someone to reorder door don't hear from anyone till Sept . ordered door yet wrong again. Installer can't repair door and has expressed to replace entire door. No one follows up, no call back no nothing every so called Mgr never follows up. ************ with this company is horrific, owners held unaccountable per employees. And yet I still hand a faulty door with no follow up!! No one can make a decision, supposed to **** had follow up call from **** cause *** is never there so he says, if course he failed to call and the customer should not chase the company to fix there products!! Requested owners to call, crickets. I will never recommend this company EVER, I have loss time& money fromwork to sit here for a wrong product !

      I have filed a complaint with you all BBB but not result or email back from you all so, I filing again.My complaint: 1. On Sept 17,2021 Euro-Tech completed job on my home for siding, soffit/fascia and gutters. On Sept 30, 2021 I noticed a section of my home wasn't done. I reached out to the company the same day by leaving a voice message but no return call so, I reached out to the sales representative by way of text message with photo of area. He said he would forward information. I was told by sale rep **** that someone would be coming out the next day but no one never showed up. The sales rep told me Saturday Oct 2,2021 that **** informed him Monday they will be out schedule got confused. Well Monday no one came out or contacted me. Today I still haven't heard from them. The company has already got paid and I am very upset for a job that is not 100% completed. I am upset for them not reaching out to me. I would like for your help to get this matter handled BBB.
