I have made two attempts to obtain a refund from the restaurant located at *********************************************************. I returned the food the following day and was informed that I would be contacted that week. As of today, 05/09/2024, I have not been contacted. I understand that if I had kept the food, the urgency of this matter would be diminished, however, I returned the food promptly. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of response from the restaurant.Initial Complaint

We received an email (attached) which was offering a 7" Buona Classic item to be redeemed within the week as we are rewards members. Based upon this email, we decided to redeem this reward, and place a second order for several additional items, one of which we thought was also a 7" sandwich. After returning home, we noticed that the sandwiches appeared smaller in size than 7". After realizing that, we decided to measure the sandwiches (with their wrappers on) and concluded that they were only 6" each (see photograph attached hereto). We called the restaurant to let them know what had happened, and the associate ***** stated that Buona Beef has changed it's sizes in the last week, even though the email was dated today, September 26, 2022. After explaining that the information we received in the email, which was the basis for our entire two orders, was very misleading and that the company had failed to properly communicate the change, she asked if we would like to speak with a manager, to which we replied "yes". We explained the situation to the manager, *****, who was not so polite. ***** stated that she would contact the corporate office and let them know that they were still sending out emails that said this but that they only have two sizes of beef now, regular and large (which is not what is stated in the email). She said that corporate would fix the problem. I asked for clarification and if she would offer any resolution at the restaurant; she said "what do you want me to do, give you free sandwiches? You got your birthday reward and your points for ordering online". This was a very rude response and I am filing this complaint because not only was she unwilling to offer a solution to the original problem but she also should not be speaking to any customer like that. Overall, the lack of communication from your company made us believe we were paying for one thing and received another. In these difficult times, we feel the company has been very dishonest.Initial Complaint

Buona Beef advertises points for each time you shop, points are based on how much you spend., and are added by staff when they ask for your phone number.I spent ****** in the past 30 days and none of the points were added to my account. I spoke to the cashier and called the manager, who came outside and noticed the points weren't on my sales ticket.He didn't offer to correct the problem, just gave me a card and I was told to call the IT dept.I informed him that his staff is not adding in the phone numbers of their customers and this is fraud and misleading the customers.By not adding in the phone number, the store saves money by not fulfilling the promotional giveaways for acquired points.I have my mobile bank history shows ****** in the last 30 days spent at their store however my Buona account reflects no purchases in the past 30 days this is clearly fraud
