I took the car in there to have 4 new tires installed and full alignment. I got the car back and went to get front shocks, struts and found the one stud broken off and lug nut missing. The tire on the driver's side tire broke off and the lug nuts were stripped. They didn't write it on my ticket or tell me anything. I tried to contact them and talk to them about it. They said I probably to look at it and it's been too long. I figured they did a professional job and wouldn't have to look at it. I had to cut the lug nut off and hurt my had beating it off. I would like my money back on the studs and stuff.Business response

THE CUSTOMER CAME IN ON NOV 08, 2021 FOR THE FOUR TIRES WHICH IS 1 1/2 YEARS LATER. HE STATED HE FOUND A WHEEL STUD BROKE IN APRIL OF 2023. OUR SHOP WOULD HAVE CALLED THE CUSTOMER TO LET THEM KNOW IF A STUD OR LUG NUT IS DAMAGE, DUE TO THEIR SAFETY. AT THE TIME IN NOV 2021 THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO ANY WHEEL STUDS OR LUG NUTS WHEN THE CUSTOMER PICKED UP HIS VEHICLE AND IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM THE CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE CALLED US BEFORE 1 1/2 YEARS LATER. THE CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE HAD OIL CHANGES & TIRE ROTATIONS WITHIN THE 1 1/2 YEARS IF HE DID THEY WERE NOT DONE AT OUR SHOP. I'M SORRY BUT I DON'T FEEL AS IF THERE SHOULD BE A REFUND BEING 1 1/2 YEARS LATER.

I had Affordable perform additional work on my P.T. cruiser (water pump timing belt. tensioner and thermostat after the new tire and rotation.. My vehicle overheated and I found that the o ring around the thermostat had been pinched and had blown the head gasket I had another repair shop put in the head gasket November of 2022. Affordable was not going to touch any of my vehicles after that. . I parked the p.t. and did not drive it for almost a year. I had bought another used car during this time period also and was driving and working on it. No other shop had touched the wheels and I had not put enough miles on it before I had the head gasket fixed to rotate the tires. I went to put front struts and rotate the tires on the p.t. cruiser and found the missing lug nut broken wheel studs lug nut problem.
