I had my 2003 yukon xl 1500 brought in for a engine swap in March. I explained it needed to be done in 30 days so the warranty on the new engine being put in would not go void. I also explained tge engine core needed to be picked up in 30 days so I wasn't charged a 350$ fee. Well I kept getting the run around and 2 and a half months went by until it was done, voiding warranty and causing me a 350 fee. I overlooked that. Then they installed a brand new double din stereo face. They installed it it has no sound coming out the speakers. They did a variety of other work brakes, struts, window motor znd after that tell ne it has a electrical issue and maybe a ground wire was jarred loose on the lift. Weeks and weeks went by with promises to resolve the issue. Those weeks turned into months. So then the manager tells me he will have a computer expert run a 250 dollar test on it to pinpoint the problem, I was charged over 500 for it. I received no information whatsoever and nothing was done. Finally after them having my car 4 months or more I went to take it somewhere else it wouldn't even start,I had to have it towed to another shop. I called send spoke with the owner. He was actually very understanding or so he seemed. Said he would reimburse partially. I told him let me see what tge other shop says and if all the work said done was and I'd get back to him. Well I've tried to get back with him now I've heard nothing. I would like reimbursed for the computer tests, labor costs on install of radio(I'll now have to pay labor to have it removed), cost of the tow, and sonetype of compensation for voided warranty and engine core fee.Business response

He brought in his own radio and we installed it. His factory radio never turned on. The radio turns on, but no sound comes on. We told him it was the amplifier. We Told him to take it to a shop that only handles radios. The car is older and there were so many issues with it. He originally brought it in for the engine. We swapped the engine out and he just kept adding things on top of that. We told him there was no warranty on the engine since he supplied it.
