.. Mr. Rooter was hired to unclog our basement drain on 4-11-2024. On 4-15-2024 a technician with a camera looked to find the blockage. The first excavation started on that date. On 4-17-2024 we were told there was another area that need to be excavated because they could see water rising in the ground. On 4-22-2024 the excavation was to begin in another area. We received several text from Mr. Rooter they were on their way. They arrived about 10:30. They asked for a shovel which we did not have. They left saying they would find one and come back. During this period I was having a meeting with the **** ** **** ****** ************** *******, **** ****** and *** ****. I was told I qualified for the program, and to call Mr. Rooter and ask them to stop all work. They were concerned we were being charged to much and there was no permit for them working on our property. When I informed Mr. Rooter to cease work I was told they had been there all morning and I was going to be charged. I informed him they hadn't started any work and they had not been there all morning. With that information I was told by the manager " I will have them bring what was dug up and they would place it on my porch." I was very concerned that a business would talk to a senior or any customer that way. We were told we qualified for the program by *** ****. The city hired another plumber: ********* ********. And they discovered that Mr. Rooter had excavated the wrong area. And that the blockage was still there and it was a matter of time before the water would rise again in the basement and we asked Mr. Rooter to cease all work. They were concerned we were being charged to much, and also they had not acquired a permit to be doing the work.

      Hello,
Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation. Mr. Rooter Plumbing was called to repair the customer’s sewer line. We provided a quote that was lower than the local competition and encouraged the customer to take some time to consider it due to the scale of the job. The customer signed a contract, indicating she wanted the work completed. We clearly explained our responsibilities and the pricing, which she agreed to. Upon returning to complete the work, the customer made the final payment and expressed gratitude to our team but mentioned she might reverse the charges due to financial constraints despite needing the work done. We investigated this and found it to be true. We understand her financial situation and appreciate her understanding that we fulfilled our contract.
At Mr. Rooter Plumbing, we deeply value our customers and are committed to providing exceptional service. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to exceed their expectations with every job. We take pride in the quality of our work and the trust our customers place in us. Their satisfaction is our top priority, and we are dedicated to building lasting relationships with each one.

Mr *** ******* owner of Mr Rooter out of Bloomington Illinois has put a Mechanics lein against my property because he says I owe him an additional $7,443 for work he didn't do. He stated I had a busted sewer pipe under my basement floor. They could put a liner in the pipe to open it up for $7,900 (the price he quoted us) After further investigating he said that couldn't be done because of the angle. So it wasn't done. He now wants payment for something he didn't do. My yard is still a mess but my sewer is working as of now.

We completed all work in our contracts with the customer except for the liner. We told them we would remove that if they would pay the rest of the invioce which leaves them offing $4000. I will attach all of the invioces to help them understand what they owe.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have never seen this invoice Mr ******* has submitted. I have every other invoice in my possession, signed by myself. I assumed this was made after the fact and my signature is forged. I've contacted my attorney. This person is a shady individual
