May 30, 2023, I paid Just Right Heating & Cooling, $110.00, my water heater not working properly, no lights on gas valve, Now, about 2 1/2 months later, same, no hot water and no light on gas valve. I called them, ************, about no hot water, they said I had to still pay them for this work.Business response

We replaced a defective gas valve on her water heater 3 years ago. We did a maintenance call on her water heater 3 months ago. Within the last 3 years we have gone out there, twice at no charge to light the pilot on her water heater. When she called yesterday, she stated that she was not going to pay for any services rendered. I informed her that we would be willing to light the pilot on her water heater for free, if she were to get the annual maintenance on her furnace or a/c. She instantly refused and stated the she was going to leave a negative review with the BBB and was going to have another come out and take care of her issue. I wish her all the best in life, but we will no longer make our services available to this customer.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because they never came to my condo, to light pilot, in last 3 years, at no charge and did not say to me, when I recently called, they would light pilot, free. I now have hired different company,

We replaced your gas valve on the water, Thursday October 29, 2020. It came with a 2 year parts warranty and a 1 year labor warranty. We came out on Friday February 26, 2021 to relight the pilot for free, due to the 1 year labor warranty from when we replaced the gas valve. We came out May 30, 2023 relit pilot and did maintenance on the water heater, which you paid for the service. We offered to come out to light the pilot for free if the customer was to have the annual maintenance done for their A/C or furnace. Immediately customer started saying that they were not going to pay and threatened to file a complaint with the BBB. Our labor warranty is up with this customer and we are not required to do any work with this past customer.
