      In May 2024 I took two separate sets of dry cleaning to CD one cleaners located in Broadview, **. I received two separate cleaning tickets. One cleaning ticket received only was for my beautiful off white two piece (jacket - pants) ****** ***** suit.Purchased April 24, 2024. I still have the purchase receipt. The receipt also includes tailoring costs. I promise the suit was worn only one time to a funeral on Saturday morning April 27, 2024. ****** Funeral Home on Southside of *******. For the record I take pride in my precise dressing and never wear white twice which is why I had the off *********************** ***** suit cleaned on one ticket by itself. When I received a text my cleaning was ready my assumption was my beautiful off white pants suit would be wear ready. Not so, my off white suit was dingy, dull and dark spotted.I took my suit back to the cleaners (where it remains) and complained to a staff member.I received a text message within a few days went in and submitted both of my CD one cleaners tickets. One cleaners ticket was the original first ticket for $4.97 each item.$4.97 jacket - $4.97 pants. The second cleaners ticket was submitted with original ticket was $0.00. My thoughts were at the time submit my tickets in good faith because for certain everything would be fine now with my pants suit. NOT SO. My suit was presented to me dull and spotted.I refused to accept the pants suit in yet another incomplete dry cleaning condition and noticeable dark spots. It was explained to me we do bulk cleaning. My response was are you telling me you all clean white and/or off white in bulk with dark colors that could possibly bleed??I left the ****** ***** pants suit (2nd time) again. Today Monday, June 17, 2024 I received a verbal call from CD one cleaners requesting to speak with me. I was asked did I leave a suit at CD One cleaners? I replied my 2 piece garments were left for 2nd dry cleaning. When I asked was my suit ready she said what was wrong? Help!

      The reason I stated rejection yesterday was do the verbal rudeness on behalf of the front desk clerk during my attempt to pick up my two piece off *********************** ***** suit from CD One Cleaners. Following the incident I followed up verbally with business owner ****** by phone message.

      Business Owner ****** verbally phoned me this morning to apologize and I accepted her feedback and concern.  Today Wednesday, June 19, 2024 I will travel (evening) to CD One respectfully and in good faith to look thoroughly over the two piece garment, make sure it is my purchased ****** ***** Brand two piece suit that has been properly cleaned.

From this point forward I will personally take my more expensive and/or designer items to a more upscale dry cleaner. Thank You Better Business Bureau for all of the fantastic, expert and immediate help rendered for a consumer such as myself. I am tremendously appreciative for life. ******************************* ****************************************

      As a dry cleaner, you have the responsibilityto take reasonable care of any item that is in your possession. I have been a customer of yours since you opened the doors and spend hundreds of dollars a month with your store. I expect that you either find out who your staff handed my items to and recover/return them to me in the next 5 days or that you provide compensation for the items lost so I may replace them.WhenI was in the storeweeks ago, your staff had me waiting 15/20 minutes to find these lost items and asked me to just come back and collect them on my next visit. I thought I was being understanding by agreeingto do so, but now it is quite apparent I was being brushed off and getting moved on since they realized the items had become lost. Upon returning, I was told that you watched the cameras and that the associate had handed them back to me, which was false as I informedyou, as I am still missing these items.Just last week I returned a woman's blouse to you as it was sent home with me on the last pickup, but did not belong to us. Wrong size, not a brand we purchase, etc. I am not clear as to why I had to convince you that it did not belong to us, but you may want to examine the approach to this type of thing in the future as it felt like the second time I was being called a liar (first time with the missing sweaters) by your organization. Not how you should make a long-term and valuable customer feel.Additionally, I ask that you look at the billing on the account as you did not offer to reimburse me for the dry cleaning expense of the women's blouse I returned last week (tagged with my last name, so I know I was billed). This business needs to operate with more integrity than what it is currently.****************************** ************

      The customers sweaters were given to another customer by mistake. We are in the process of getting a hold of the customer to get the sweaters back. We will keep ******************** updated.
