Barstow Transfer and Storage arranged our move through National Van Lines. They showed up when promised both for pick up and delivery. There was no additional charge upon delivery. Because of the steepness of our driveway, our items had to be loaded into a smaller truck and this was all included in the original price. Three men carefully unloaded our belongings, even using floor protectors to avoid damaging our tile floors. We have used them to move several family members and they have never disappointed. My elderly parents had to move from one state to another, and they used National Van Lines. They could not have been happier with this company, and would highly recommend them to family and friends for their next move. ***************************** and **** were extremely helpful and responsive, they were very patient every time my parents called with questions. Honestly, that was the least stressful part of the move. Exceptional experience. Great communication. ****, our coordinator, was always available to help with questions. The team did what they said -- always arrived on time, professional and responsive. Competitive bid. The city tore up the road in front of our house right before the move and the moving team pivoted to address the unexpected road work creatively. The packers took great care of our possessions -- everything arrived in perfect condition (EVEN the things we were sure there was "no way" this delicate item would not get damaged ... all arrived in great shape). *****, the driver, and her team were also exceptional: they arrived on time, worked hard, and quickly and placed our furniture exactly where we wanted it.
