We contracted Moore Drywall and painting to finish taping and Mudding our master bedroom. He was also contracted to put texture on the drywall. ***** the contractor instructed his assistant to pour the remaining mud down our toilet. It clogged the toilet so we had to hire a sewer company to clean out our lines. He said he would take care of the bill for the sewer company. Since talking to him last he has blocked both my wife and my number. We only paid him a little more than half for the project. He told us over the phone to keep the rest of our money.Business response

We did 75 percent of the job putting the texture on would have on took a couple hours, I told them I had a very small window I could fit them in, on the Friday afternoon they were supposed to have been expecting me, we got there at like 230, 3 guys and when I rang the doorbell, the attack dog was going crazy and the old man that sits by the door did not answer so for 20 minutes we stood in the cold trying to get in with no answer when the owner got home and started calling me saying I needed to go there and finish I replied I had a big job to do it would be several days to get back but had no real answer to why no one would answer the door except I should have knocked instead, i also told them that I have very good insurance that have never used when the job was done and I was paid the insurance would cover all cost, but now they have violated our warranty policy and received more work than they paid for, also when my employee asked the old man where the water was he told him outside two minutes later the homeowner came home and let the attack dog outside and chased my employee over the fence, probably the craziest place to work at sorry but we will not go back.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: one our dog is not an attack dog. Second he still needs to apologize for ruining some of my drywall. Third he owes us for getting a sewer company to fix our sewer lines. Lastly he needs to come out and clean his mess up.
