              I went to see my Doctor at Christie Clinic for a regular routine checkup like I do every year. He recommends me to get blood work as part of my preventive care as usual and says it's covered. So as usual we did so again and he said it was covered. I got a bill for the blood work and apparently my insurance United health does not cover it anymore. They mention it on their benefits page but in my particular case is not mentioned at all with their explanation of benefits. As matter of fact the benefits on their site list blood work and lipid panels as being covered. I called *** and they said for my age it is not covered but there is no note of that in the EOB and my Doctor did not know that and falsely made me do a test that was covered. I do not feel it is fair to make me liable for the cost when I would have declined the service if I knew it was not covered. I got a bill for $131.28 but have not paid yet
