I had a root canal on tooth #3, over 2 years ago at Hessel Park Family Densitry. I was told my insurance would cover the root canal and the crown and was given written estimate. The procedure failed, because 1 of the 4 canals was missed. I went to an endodondist to repeat the root canal, and returned to Hessel Park Family Densitry to place the crown. Their office did not keep a record of having placed the crown, and did not file the insurance claim in time. in December 2022, they started sending me a bill for over $1000 for the crown. I called, and visited their office. They said that ***** ****** denied the claim because it was delayed, and that Hessel Park Family Densitry did not have a record of the crown being placed. They said they would appeal the denial and would follow up. There was no follow up, and instead I got another bill. I visited their office, where the same dialogue was repeated. They had no record of the crown being placed, insurance denied the claim as it was submitted past the deadline, and that they would appeal and call me. Again, they did not call me, and again I got a 3rd bill over email and post. Hessel Park Family Dentistry missed the claim deadline due to their poor record keeping. I should not have to pay for their mistake. I am requesting that they zero out my balance and stop sending bills.
