I am writing to formally file a complaint against NCSA. I am requesting a complete cancellation with no fees. My daughter recently talked with NCSA's program and told us that we could cancel the program at any time without fees. However, after speaking to a representative today we have been told that not only can we not cancel without fees, we are required to pay the full amount. We have been faced with extreme financial hardship and cant continue this service. They have no regard to personal matters only their own gains. Be cautious using this company they are not in this to help you and your child. We have come to realized over the last week that the company was a scam and the incredible services promised were nothing more than false advertisement and unacceptable business practices. We have had to navigate on our own and can do so with a ridiculous fee.

We purchased an MVP (Lifetime) Membership based on misleading sales promises on 4/5/2022. This is a blatant cash grab, bait and switch. What services were provided for the money paid? Zero. We paid for a sales pitch, one call with someone and a follow up call made by us to them about an incorrect email-more on that below. The assigned coach switched more than the tides and not a single one of them provided the support pitched to us in the original sales call, none offered the personalized guidance and assistance that had been described during the sales pitch. We just got a call from yet another new guy requesting feedback. Feedback on what? What have you provided that you are requesting feedback on? This scam?Constant generic emails from colleges that one could get simply by signing up for the colleges mailing list, among other things. None of it is personalized. Speaking of email, we informed the program in the beginning they had the incorrect email for our student, they had my email. (Parent.) After assuring us this was fixed, more than once, here we are senior year and it is still not correct. Which is how I can tell you this program is a complete scam. I am the one that has been getting the emails this place sends. Thats the personalized service and support we paid for? So personalized you couldnt even get the students email correct? So supportive you couldnt change the email to the actual client of yours? Makes complete sense. Parents considering this program: DONT. They do not provide refunds despite not delivering on the services paid for or delivering any service at all. This company is able to take your money based upon false promises and false business tactics while not giving you anything in return. It is appalling this company is able to prey on high school students and their parents. I would like a full refund for services not delivered as pitched to us in the original sales phone call. There were zero services delivered.

Over 90% of outbound emails to schools we're interested in bounce back as non-deliverable with incorrect email addresses. We do not wish to continue spending our valuable time getting inaccurate information and would like cancellation of continued service as well.

We hired NCSA to help with recruiting for our son, a swimmer. We paid for two compilation videos of his swims; however, he is graduating in three months and we only have one. The quality of the video is not worth the thousands of dollars paid, as I could have spliced together the videos we submitted and put an arrow on the screen over the lane my son was swimming in. We were connected with a "Coach" that seemed to not be familiar with swimming at all. We had a few phone calls with the "Coach" checking in, but then began to hear nothing and grew frustrated with the service. I see post after post on NCSA social media saying that an athlete had someone from NCSA to "hold their hand" and had someone who put them "out there". My son did not receive such a service. We found a college on our own and reached out to our NCSA "Coach" to set up a meeting on how to proceed and call the college coach. We never received a phone call back. We tried to set up a meeting via phone and through the NCSA portal (that we paid for) and never received a reply. We ended up calling the college coach on our own and winging it, which should NOT happen when we paid for a service. In all we received a couple of phone calls early on, an email of template responses that they also posted publicly online and a mediocre highlight video. What we received is not what we paid for. I sent an email to NCSA on 9/5/24 expressing my displeasure and asking for a refund. I didn't receive a reply. On 9/15/24 I send a second email and received a call from the NCSA "Coach", apologizing. He checked in a couple of times via text, and then missed a scheduled meeting and never replied to the request for a new one. I sent another email to NCSA on 3/4/25 and 3/10/25 and have yet to be acknowledged. I do not want my son to be counted as a "commit" statistic for them because NCSA did nothing to assist us in the process. I have yet to be acknowledged or replied to and would like help getting a refund.

I reached out to NCSA in the past in regards to me no longer wanting the services and to stop ACH draft payments from my account; being that my son has a free recruiting portal through his school, and his coaches prefer the players to utilize the school recruiting app. However, I received a new debit card; which I activated on 2/6/25 and NCSA had been trying to process a payment for February, but could not process it through being that they have the old debit *** and expiration date of the old debit card on file in settings. On 2/27/25 I looked at my bank account, and ********************** drafted a payment for $44. So, I called my bank to make sure NCSA did not process it from my checking account and routing number; being that I did not provide them with my new debit card information because I wanted to stop payments in the past being that the services were not beneficial , and my son has a new school recruiting app. My bank verified that it was done by debit and not checking account information, and they are also confused as to how they processed it through with out the new *** and Expiration date of the new card. A payment was declined on 2/28/25 for $88, but they NCSA took money on 2/27/25. I spoke with an NCSA agent and he made the statement "my bank must let certain amounts slide through" which my bank has already stated that's it not right because they can't process a transaction through unless a business has the *** or EXP date to do so. Therefore, I do not trust them, and no longer want to do business with them being that they faulted my financial institution when it was NCSA actions to blame after verifying with my credit union. I did not give NCSA my new card ***/EXP date to process this card through. Also, my bank is aware I have a new card; therefore it was on NCSA's accountability.

My daughter graduated high school in 2022. She has not played waterpolo and does not plan to for the college level. She finally got surgery for her shoulder in May 2024. NCSA has not done anything to recruit her, even if she wanted or could play. Her shoulder injury has made it hard to use her shoulder. Even after the surgery it still dislocates. NCSA stated that the only way out of the contract is to have a dr state this was a career ending surgery. The doctor will not state that because it can be applied to her general employment and she can still work. My daughter is also battling her mental health issues and has been diagnosed with multiple disorders. NCSA hasnt done anything to assist her when she was in school and now shes been out for three years and they refuse to stop taking money. I am not asking for a refund. Just please stop taking money.

NCSA (Next College Student Athlete) went to elaborate lengths and made countless promises regarding the recruitment by colleges of both my son and daughter. My son received some contacts, but mainly from schools significantly below his competition abilities. Mostly we were contacted by Div 3 schools which cannot offer athletic scholarships. I personally am a *********** Coach and began handling his recruiting process. I was immediately able to gain the attention of several Div 1 and 2 Schools, as well as many ****. Ultimately he was offered $17,000/year to wrestle. None of my major school contacts through NCSA were answered. Only when I went outside of the service was I able to accomplish building interests. My daughter has amazing grades and is a 4 time all state wrestler. She has been accepted educationally at many of the nations top schools. I have been handling her recruitment as well. We have only been spammed a few contacts from schools that are irrelevant to her interests or abilities. At the time we met via video with an NCSA salesperson, we were told we could cancel at anytime. Last week I spoke with someone in their billing department and was told that both would have to pay several hundreds of dollars in order to cancel. Yes they provide seminars and yes they provide lots of information on numerous programs, but the coaches at those schools aren't relying on NCSA's services for their recruitment, short of the Div 3 schools that will accept most any athlete because they cannot offer scholarships and are happy to collect full tuition from "prospective athletes". We are very disappointed in the lack of follow up from their recruiting coaches and then to be told we have to pay more in order to cancel, this is simply unethical and unacceptable. We have paid thousands of dollars and little to nothing has been accomplished for either of my children.

I am writing to formally file a complaint against NCSA. I am requesting a refund of payments made and complete cancellation with no fees as promised. On 10/10/24 I enrolled my son in NCSA's program at the *** level. It was explained to myself, my wife and my son at that time by their representative that we could cancel the program at any time without fees and even after college commitment was made. However, after speaking to a representative today we have been told that not only can we not cancel without fees, we are also being informed there is a Lending Disclosure that we never signed, agreed to or were even aware of. So not only would we be expected to pay the $2319 fee for the useless *** program but would also be expected to pay a $465 finance charge. We never agreed to fulfill a full 12 month contract and certainly had no clue we were financing any amount. We realized over the last couple months that the company was a scam and the incredible services promised were nothing more than false advertisement and unacceptable business practices. Finally lets discuss the quality of service. We were assured that our 1 on 1 coach would readily be available to help with and issues, questions or concerns. He would be available through, text, email or calls. We requested a call prior to two different college visits. It took 4 days for a response and he then said he was over booked and we should just email him. This is unacceptable and indicative of the predatory nature of NCSA. As one final point our credit card on file expired in January. I felt this might have been our chance to get out of the payments. However in February they charged my card again which had a new expiration date and cvv code. This was never given to **********************. We have been lied to, misled, and charged for a program that we were assured could be canceled at any time. I am requesting an immediate cancellation of my account and a majority, if not full refund of all payments made to date. Please help BBB!

NCSA is refusing to allow us to cancel our membership. We were ***eatedly reassured during our initial consult in 2022 that we could cancel at any time. This has not been true. My family has suffered several financial hardships since 2022, including myself being hospitalized, undergoing 2 surgeries, and missing over half a years work/salary due to illness. NCSA did not care about our hardships, and only allowed a reduced payment schedule for 3 months at a time per our request. My son is no longer playing football, and has never used any of the paid services because better services were available to him for FREE online at the time. He cannot play football in college because his degree specific school does not have a football program, and he has chosen to focus on his degree, instead of sports. When we spoke with a financial aid team member to explain this, and our hardships as our reasons for needing to cancel our membership, we were met with rudeness and resistance. I was told that my hardships, and him no longer playing football were our problem, and we signed a contract that they expected to be paid in full. I was offered another reduced payment schedule, and when I expressed that I would be revoking NCSAs authorization to charge my CC, the *** informed me that they would show the credit card company our contract. I have contacted the company by phone and email, I have made it very clear that I DO NOT authorize NCSA to continue to charge my credit card, and that I have formally and officially revoked any prior or future authorization to do so. NCSA has ignored this. I have contacted my creditor, and plan to file a complaint. NCSA is charging thousands for very limited services, most of which can be done for free online. In the initial call/meeting, youre made to believe their services are going to provide one of a kind aid and exposure to your child, this is not true. We have paid most of the membership, have no need for it, and cannot afford to continue.

I am rejecting this response because: NCSA did not attempt to reach out to my family to remedy this. In fact, they continue to attempt to charge my credit card for their fees, and continue to send me the same automated email responses. I called this business, per their instructions to do so when wishing to cancel - and was met with an uncooperative, unhelpful, and rude response. I was not helped, and this service was not cancelled at my request. I made it clear via phone, and email that NCSAs authorization to debit/charge my credit card for any further fees was withdrawn/revoked, effective immediately. NCSA has ignored this request, and has made no attempts to contact us. This seems to be common practice on NCSAs part.

I am rejecting this response because: NCSA has not emailed us. I can provide proof if necessary. NCSA attempted to call my cellphone once and I was disconnected as soon as I picked the call up. They did not attempt to callback, or leave a voicemail. NCSA needs to cancel our membership without penalty or fees, and stop attempting to charge my credit card, as I have revoked authorization. I gladly await the email confirmation of this, and this only.
