We engaged with NCSA to help our daughter connect with colleges for her basketball career. The company promised comprehensive support, including personalized connections with college coaches, assistance with scholarship applications, and career advice. Unfortunately, our experience has been incredibly disappointing. We have been making monthly payments that have now added up to $1650, but we have received no meaningful assistance or support from them. They have not fulfilled any of the promises they made initially. Our attempts to contact them for updates or assistance have been met with vague responses and no concrete actions. When we expressed our desire to cancel the service due to their failure to deliver on their promises, they informed us that we would have to pay an additional $1400 to cancel the contract. This cancellation policy is unfair and adds further financial burden on us, given that they have already failed to provide the services we paid for.We feel misled and taken advantage of and hope that by filing a complaint we can help prevent others from going through this and losing so much money. We are seeking refund and a waiver of the $1400 cancellation fee due to their failure to deliver the promised services.

We were made many promises when we were given the pitch about NCSA. We were told that our son was recruit-able and that he would be walked through the recruiting process and given hand over hand assistance. Within less than 30 days we knew the program would not work for us. We asked for a refund, and were told that we had missed the window for a refund. We asked that we just end the payments, and were told they could not do that either. The program requires that the athlete do the majority of the work with little to no assistance from the NCSA staff. We were promised the staff would guide us and our son through the process and handle much of the work for him. We were very confused and uninformed about the recruiting process and reached out many times to ask questions and get direction. All of the responses were canned and provided no help. Our son was not presented in the best light and the process was extremely time intensive. The promises made were not kept. Despite requests for refunds, we were not given one. The entire NCSA process was overwhelming and not worth the cost. They advertise the program as on that provides people to assist you through the recruiting process, but in reality it is just a digital platform coaches may or may not access. Even if the coaches access the platform, your child may not come up in their searches if you do not pay the premium fees. We were told we would have to have the most expensive package for our son to come up more frequently in coaches searches. Its tiered on payment not merit. Our son joined a division one team without any assistance or support from NCSA. In fact, they recently sent out an inquiry to see if he was committed at any college, because they have no idea where he stands with his recruitment. Again, this is a hands off digital platform that only supplies your childs name in the search if you pay for the top tier package. Dont waste your money. The program does not deliver what is promised.

Company gets kids on phone with parents then makes parents feel inadequate for not having already started planning for kids college sports career abd recruiting when kid is only 14... Then gets kids all excited about their "recruitability." shows fees fir services and gives family minimal time to put agent on hold to pick a plan, without time to read the contract or discuss in detail, and most of all without advising they would only have 3 days to cancel or be locked in and owe thousands of dollars even if their kid gets injured or decides they don't want to play the sport anymore! predatory practices and they won't let me cancel so I filed a complaint to dispute charges with my bank but I'm afraid they might send my account to collections. do jot recommend to any families to trust this company. they guilt parents into signing up and raise the hopes of young athletes about their amazing future college careers without having any idea if they kid can even play well.

We take all feedback very seriously and are incredibly disappointed to hear our clients account of the ********************** experience. As such, we have contacted the family directly to provide a resolution.

It may be worth noting that there are several necessary & elaborate steps that each family must take themselves prior to enrolling with NCSA, to ensure there is a full understanding of the expectations and responsibilities of all parties, including clear terms and conditions which are shared with every family upon enrollment. Additionally, we also recognize that circumstances can change, which is why NCSA remains fully committed to work at length to provide as much support and flexibility as possible to anyone who might need it, through a variety of assistance programs and options.

We continually strive to maintain our stature as the industrys leading college recruiting service and annually help 30,000+athletes play their sport in college through our unmatched expertise and resources. I signed up for their VIP membership for my daughter. A couple of months in, we had some unexpected events happen that ended up making our financial situation very very tight. When it was time for our 3rd payment, my account was overdrawn and payment wasn't successful. They tried again the following week. When the payment was drafted, I barely had enough to pay some bills and nothing left for groceries. I will be unable to make the next payment and tried to cancel my membership. I was informed they have a strict cancelation policy and can only be canceled with loss of job or bankruptcy. To me, this is not right. It should be illegal. I don't feel as if I should have to explain the intimate details on why I can no longer afford the payments. They are my families personal problems. If this cancelation policy was explained to me before signing up, I would not have signed up because I know how life throws us wrenches. Sad thing is, my daughter has been so busy that any payments we have made have gone toward nothing really since she hasn't really used the account much. I guess it's my fault for not reading all the fine print. But I would like other people to be aware of what they could be potentially dealing with when life hits them. PLEASE READ THE FINE PRINT and don't sign up for any membership unless you know for a fact you can commit to it fully and see it to the end.

I spoke to NCSA when my son was a freshman. He is Graduating this year as a 4 year player and TN. 4A State Champion. Very, very good basketball player. NCSA, is an absolute joke and scam. They promised to produce videos and send them to coaches, (you have to do all the actual work, and what they did, you can do with your phone on your own!! Every few months I would get like 15 texts in one day that had no context no support. Just a name and phone number for us to call and do all the work that they said my 3500 dollars was going to pay them to do. All of the interest my son received from college coaches was from our own due diligence. NCSA is basically a scam. Dozens of empty promises. I spoke to someone on the phone 2 times in 3 years. And one of those is when they sold me their lies! The other is when I called them!! Other than taking my 3500 dollars NCSA DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If this complaint becomes public. PLEASE listen and DO NOT give NCSA any money. You would be better off burning it! Now they have partnered with IMG academy who I had somewhat of an amount of respect for. That sailed straight out as soon as the affiliated themselves with NCSA. So now the two businesses NCSA AND IMG ACADEMY claim to be the best at helping college athletes are joining forces to steal even more money from young families! I have talked to several other college prospects and their families and I have yet to speak with someone who is even remotely pleased with NCSA/IMG ACADEMY. They wholeheartedly agree with my assessment. I will continue to tell everyone in the basketball community and everyone I get a chance to talk to about it to stay away! I am president of a youth league with over 1000 players. I also organize local AAU tournaments for several hundred players each week. So, no. I am not just some upset parent. I know the business and know how it should work! NCSA AND IMG ACADEMY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Financial situation has changed as well as my students desire to play college sports (he no long wants to go to college or play football at college/ university). Asked about cancelling and was told my child had to be injured as the only way to cancel. They have reduced my payment but this is only a temporarily solution as they expect me to still keep the contact and eventually pay the full amount.

Company initially said that we were able to opt out of their services at any time. I immediately tried to stop the payment because I had no idea money was going to be discussed. As soon as I tried to opt out now they want thousands of dollars from after only one month. My son is in 8th grade and they had us sign a contract that said they were going to provide all these things yet provided nothing besides a couple of phone calls, phone calls as well to my son that were unauthorized. I paid for the first month instantly regretting it from the second I hung up the phone I knew it was a scam. I immediately called my bank to have my card stopped somehow they were still able to pull the money out after I had already stopped my credit card. After several attempts of trying to figure out how to opt out I called there headquarters. I was instantly told that no matter what they contract their own contracts out to themselves I'm not even quite sure what that means but I don't know how they can expect half for doing nothing over 4 years. NCSA has been called out at scammers by tens of thousands of people. They can't pray on children and families just looking for their kid to get a better chance at getting into college when they're in 8th grade.

After signing up with Ncsa we reached out to cancel within 4 days. We were told they cannot cancel over email and kept charging our card periodically different amounts at different times until now when i cancelled the card. It's predatory behavior to not let a family cancel within a week of signing the agreement and then saying you can only cancel their way. I'm hoping for a fair resolution because this has been an awful experience. If they are customer focused this should have been a non issue. We haven't used the service at all and it's been the biggest headache i can remember. Do not sign up for this service they just bleed families out of money with the promise of visibility from coaches. we only were contacted by d3 coaches from schools we never heard of.

The school provided NCSA number to my son and called him and harassed him even at school hours to get him to sign a contract with a promise for them to help him and get him in a spot college soccer team. We finally signed him with this useless scam in October 2023. We have paid $150.00 every month since then with an initial payment of $200.00 so in total we are requesting all our money refund to us. This is a scam and used children dreams to play as key of all this fraud. The company is calling on my child to try to get him to join the coach meeting while he is at school. My son took a hit to the eye/head, and it cause temporary vision loss immediately when it happened. We were in fear that his retina had detached. After seeing a retinal specialist, the retina was not detached, but there was some bleeding behind the eye causing floaters. We had a follow up visit, and the floaters are random now and it has resolved for the most part, however, the specialist said that the area is bruised now and fragile and he should avoid hits to that area. With this being said, my son had decided that he no longer wants to play in college or be recruited any further. His vision is not worth the risk to him. I have requested their customer services number to request either a refund or stop the payments but I have not received any response from NCSA and both coaches assigned to him left NCSA, so he hasnt anyone contacted him until yesterday. WE NEED OUR MONEY BACK. The only thing we received from them was harassing calls and emails promoting new products or inviting him for useless camps that do not help at all just wasting time and money. They did not assist my son in any way to be recruited. My son just received emails from some coaches inviting him to camps. That did not require the assistance of NCSA, my son could have done that himself. NCSA WAS OF NO USE OR ASSTANCE TO HIM IN THE RECRUITING PROCESS. It is a total scam in my opinion.

When we did the video call with the employee from NCSA he used guilty to get me to purchase the most expensive package they sell. He told me that most parents start with this stuff, recruiting profiles, when their child is 10 years old. So, while my son is behind he is confident that they can help. This employee also told me that if I have any problems or want to cancel I can call and cancel anytime. I decided after almost a year of payments to cancel because they weren't helping my child at all. The only thing they do is SPAM your email. I called to cancel and come to find out they have a cancellation policy, which means I can cancel but I still have to pay them over $1000. Do not walk away from this scam of a company...RUN!!!
