I did request a quote q few months back from their website. I received a mailing from them a month ago. Today , 2/11/2024, I received a email from them. I tried to email them back over a month ago. That I already have auto insurance. I already pay better than what Lincoln offered in their quote. I don't feel their insurance will work for me due to price quote.

And the representative told me the notice I'm Looking at had to be correct cause hers says the date she's telling me; can you say ripping me off. My notice says 3/19/23 at 12am How can you change a cancellation fee when I have in writing the date of cancellation. This company is horrible.

      Hello ******************,

If a payment is not received by the due date then a 10 day cancellation notice is mailed out to you in accordance with ******** law. When a policy has a lien holder listed on it like your policy the insurance company sends an additional cancellation notice with an additional 10 days also in accordance with ******** law. Thus the reason why two cancellation dates.

      Sincerely, Lincoln Management

I am rejecting this response because: Isnt that fraud? Which date is accurate you; since I only received the notice for the date of the 19th at 12am which was clearly different from what you have in your system. The system and the mailed document that i received should read the same shouldnt it?

We operate under the rules and regulations of the ******** Insurance Code. This Law in the ******** insurance code is under section 215 ILCS5/143.14 c. and d.

When an insurance payment is not received then the Premium finance company (Lincoln Acceptance Company) is required by law to send a 10 day cancellation notice to the insured. However if vehicle is financed and there is a Lienholder listed on the policy then the insurance company is required to send an additional notice of cancellation actually extending the cancellation effective date longer.

I hope this helps you to have a better understanding of the actions above. Thank you, ***************

I am rejecting this response because:so therefore I shouldnt be charged an cancellation fee cause as you stated it was extended; and to be cancelled on that date; which is the letter I received as to why I responded; so I ask again isnt that fraud of some sort? Also the representative said the insurance was paid in advance by on company so how does a cancellation fee gets added to something paid in advanced?

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

In compliance with her request we have waived the cancellation fee on ********************** account.

I have been paying for full coverage insurance for at least three years. Someone hit my parked car while I was out of town. My vehicle was totaled out as a result. Although, the person responsible had liabilty insurance my insurance company Lincoln made it a note that they were not getting involved under any circumstances. There was no empathy on their end through this situation whatsoever although their insurance company informed me my insurance company should act as a liason on my behalf. The other cars affected, called their insurance companies, their insurance took care of everything and communicated with the other insurance to get what they paid for their clients to get their vehicle fixed and are not having the hassle of getting a resolution that I am having with Lincoln. I had to get a rental until the other insurance settles. I opted to use my own insurance to cover me for this period. During this time I was carjacked, the car was recovered. I called Lincoln to inform them of this they routed me right back to the other insurance company. They take no ownership, they will not help you, they will bounce you back and forth and you literally are on your own! They are not willing to help you in any shape form or fashion!!! At this point we need a resolution to our issue.
