Took vehicle to repair paid $1693 for repairs vehicle was giving a warranty from place for labor and parts but vehicle still has same problem repair refuses to comply with warrantyBusiness response

Customer returned 6 months later claiming that we did not replace any parts when we indeed replaced the parts necessary to fix the issues involving the DTC's that were provoking the check engine light at the time. When customer returned he did not have those codes, he presented another code. He went to an auto parts where they only sell parts and they told him he needed to replace the same part (throttle body) we had already changed but did NOT have the code it had the first time he came to us 6 months ago. We fixed his first issue he had and customer now wants everything that doesn't relate to the first problem, fixed, which is very wrong. He is now claiming we did not change any part when indeed we did. I also attached a picture with the codes he originally came with and not the same ones he returned with months later. If he shows you the codes he has at the moment, it is not the same codes which means his truck just needs other type of work done.Customer response

Here is the receipt when we purchased the part for the customer vehicle. The part is a OEM brand (original equipment manufacturer) which is a high quality brand. The customer can open his hood and clearly see that the part has been changed but denies it even though it is new. Request the new codes from the customers vehicle and it will not be the same codes it originally had. If he denies showing the new codes, its clear that the customer wants free *********************** and that is very very wrong.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: shop said they replaced the throttle body it should be warrantied for 1 year so why should I have to pay more out of my pocket if he repaired the Throttle body assembly so that means he bought a defective part so they should cover repairs and labor or refund me my money meaning they worked on something that had nothing to do with my truck. The codes they are showing is from a evap leak which is on the receipt that I also played for.
