      If I could give a negative 100 I would. I will thank the good lord above when I can get my payment moved to another bank. I sent payoff check to them and overnighted it for nothing. I was told today that it would take 12 to 15 days before it could be processed. What kind of bank is this????

      Our loan was transferred to BMO from bank of the west. I have never had any problems paying my loan through bank of the west and paid months in advance. My bill is finally due after making my last payment to BOW over a year ago, and now trying to make a payment through BMO I am unable to do so online. I called the number BMO has listed for customer service. I finally get through to the representative and answer 10 minutes of questions verifying the loan only for the representative to have to reconfirm the questions with my husband then to be told she cannot verify his identity, and we need to go to the bank branch over 200 miles away to confirm who we are just to make a payment on the loan. Having all of our information wasn't enough. Why in the world they would deny us the ability to pay a bill is beyond me but paying a bill should not be this difficult or absurd. After reading the reviews and dealing with customer service I highly suggest this bank needs to be evaluated for their practices and considered shut down. I did not take out a loan with this bank, I should not have to deal with ignorance to pay a bill through a bank I did not approach to even take my business and nearly every person who has left a negative review should not have to deal with such idiocy through a business that is supposed to protect their investments not give them hassle and poor customer service.

      Zero ?, BMO bank plays fraud, stay away from this bank forever to save your money and time. They are completely liars to use false flyers to make you open account with them and steal your opening bonus. They will accidently sending your check book to wrong address and put your checking account on risk, they play with all kinds of tricks to avoid paying any opening bonus and steal your money. Completely liars.

      This is the absolute worst bank I have dealt with in my entire life. They hold your money for days before it is released, customer service is helpless, the "fraud" department reads off of a script and if you're upset, they say "I understand" with no help AND was told they don't have a manager to escalate the problem to. Very frustrating. My son is having expensive surgery that had to be paid for by 7/28. I went into the bank to deposit a check for the amount of the surgery and was told by the bank rep that half would be accessible the next day and the rest on 7/28. The next morning I went to look at my account and couldn't log in. I tried every password, thinking it was me. I called BMO and was told that the fraud department locked me out of my account, flagged my check, and that they would send me a letter with a response in 15 - 30 days!!!! I explained to her that my son was having surgery and that I needed the money and all she said was "I understand". When I asked to speak to a manager or someone higher up she said there is no manager in the fraud department. I went into the bank where I live and oh my gosh, what a mess they made of my account. The good news, the surgery was paid for. Bad news, the check is still sitting in bank and I haven't accessed any of it. Do NOT bank with this company. I had the worst experience, such a nightmare. Another thing I find weird is that when you go to the actual bank where I live, it's a huge building standing on its own, but there are only 3 people who work there. The rest of the bank is dark.

      They have taken almost 1k of my money out of my home town Bank for a loan that is paid off because of auto payments which they can't seem to shut off, had to call 3 times so far and send in a form to stop the auto payment. No one can tell me if they have stopped the auto payment or when my second check is for the second overpayment. Do not get any loan thru this bank!

      RV loan was transferred from Bank of the West to BMO ( worst bank on the planet). I pay ahead on my loan by 2 -3 months. Never a problem with Bank of the West. Extra payments always posted to principal. Now with BMO I am still paid ahead until September 5th 2024, but now all my payments are getting posted 100% TO INTEREST!!!. Per phone calls to them they say I am ahead on the principal but behind on interest. WHAT THE ******* I am NOT understanding their thinking. RUN RUN RUN from BMO Bank if you can.

      Recently changed to this bank within the past year or so. Since I have gotten this account, it has been nothing but problems. They constantly think I am committing fraud on my own account, leaving me stranded with no access to MY money twice. Their branches never have functioning ATM's, I am constantly having to go to a different location because one ATM won't accept deposits, withdrawals, whatever, it is something new every time I go. Transactions take forever to post, sometimes days, I have had it take up to two weeks multiple times. Their online banking is constantly "down for maintenance" and this is frustrating as I work a night job. I have overdrawn my account on more then one occasion due to not being able to see my balance and having to get gas after work. There is no way to get your balance outside of regular business hours when their system is down. It is not fair that I need to wait to see my balance every single night. I've never had a bank where this happened as much as it does now. The way that they have a deadlock on all of MY money is atrocious. They really should not be allowed to control my money as much as they do. Their phone customer service is also horrible and they can never solve any of my problems, especially with transactions not posting. I have to do more pen and paper work then ever with this account, and they are the ones who advertise their mobile banking the most. I am really considering changing banks soon, and everyone should be aware that they are yet another scamming, dirty bank.

      They take 7-10 business to process a payment when it's received. I refinanced my auto loan and the other bank sent the payment overnight by ***** and BMO refused to even start the 7-10 day processing of the payment until I called them 3 days after tracking showed they received it. What bank sits on an overnighted check from another bank and then takes 7-10 days to process the payment. They do this to continue adding interest and other fees. Complete scam of a bank.

      The *** branch in ******** ********** is absolutely the worst I have ever been into in my entire life the branch manager there ***** is so unprofessional rude, I recently opened an account with them and when I went into withdraw the front some of the funds she told me I could not do so so I then called customer service and they told me that I was able to pull my money out of my account if I went into the branch and then I could have them print me a debit card. So I re-entered the bank and went to the chairs to wait and was told again I could not get my money out because I had deposit from zelle which is who they contract with. She also told me she would not put me a debit card. I told her I had the supervisor for the ***** customer service number on the phone and that he was notifying me that I could I was able to get a bank card printed in the branch and he did not understand why she was telling me no. I got frustrated and stood up to leave and when I did so the branch manager ***** why would you say that without saying flexed on me as if she was going to hit me. I said what are you going to hit me she told me no I needed to get out of her bank and never ever come back she would never help me again. I have never been to embarrassed in my entire life I am now standing in the lobby being bullied to the point I am now crying. I just wanted to close my account at that point they told me I cannot do that either. I left that branch that day sobbing humiliated and unable to get my money from my account until the weekend had passed. When I called the ***** number back again to make a formal complaint the supervisor of their resolution center did not ask for the branch the branch manager's name he did not ask for my name he did not show any real care or or concern about the way I was treated in their Bank. If I could give this Bank zero Stars best believe that's if they would have gotten from me cuz they don't even deserve a freaking 1.

      This is the most horrible bank to do business with and they are crooks they hold on to your money and tell you to wait half a month while they loan your money to people and you get absolutely no access to your own money they need to be audited and investigated for fraud you cant even get an American person on the phone who understands you they need to be shut down immediately they are taking money and advantage of American citizens
