Took our perfectly running car to this mechanic for some codes that were preventing the car to pass the emissions test. Car was being driven a 20 mile daily commute with no problems up to that point. ****** the mechanic manager said the car needed the timing chain replaced for it to pass the emissions test and gave a price of $1300. When he returned the car to us and after we paid, the car needed to be jump started to get it out of the mechanic but they told us an excuse and we believed them.. then the car died 5 blocks later on the street with a code of dangerously low oil, turn the engine off now. We called the mechanic and they came and got the car for another week of repairs and then gave it back not ready to pass the emission test, with a new code, making a horribly loud noise, with oil leaks what were not there before, old ***** bolts on the engine and seals burnt and not replaced, so the car was now more broken than when we took it to them and still not passing the emissions test. They didnt want to work on the car any longer or to fix anything else making excuses about everything, so we needed to take the car as broken as it was. Now we need to pay another mechanic $1300 just to fix and replace everything Brakes 4 le$$ broke and left without fixing. We want our money back because they broke so many things in the car and in order to pay the other mechanic for the repairs of what brakes 4 le$$ broke and didnt fix. The other mechanic said the other mechanic (brakes 4 le$$) was so unprofessional with their work and that when you replace the timing chain youre required to fix the leak and gaskets or seals that you encounter broken or that you break. They broke things and didnt fix them. The car was not leaking before. My new mechanic had to go back and revise all their work and do it again.
